The Good: They have fair prices even on the merchandise when compared to online prices which is unusual for a place like this so that was a happy surprise. Exhaustive selection of games/consoles to play. Most of the staff are quite knowledgeable, quick to jump up and help you help you and are very flexible i.e. if you paid for 2 hours but want to leave after 67 mins they’ll hand a 1 hour card back to you. The Bad: Bad training program? The new staff seem slow to catch on. They have trouble remembering the policies and procedures but also difficulty setting things up to play sometimes. It really seems like something they could fix with an extra hour of training or a handbook or something. The bathrooms tend to be a little gross which is not necessarily something the staff can control 24⁄7 but the sinks also have no hot water so it makes me think bathroom sanitation is just not high on their priority list. There are a few modern-gen consoles that are capable of 1080p but they are plugged into HD TVs with old composite video cables so you aren’t getting the graphic experience that you should. It’s just annoying because you paid normal price but then you are seated there with a system that is high tech but gimped only by a cheap choice of cabling. Overall: That paragraph on the bad came out a lot longer than I intended. I just started reviewing so I want to be fair and balanced though. Anyway overall you can rest assured that it seems to matter to them that you leave happy and they give it a good effort with frequent success. I love going there to be around the staff and the regulars. They have put together a good community and a fun place to be.

This place is just like hanging out in your buddies basement. Complete with ramen noodles, microwaveable rib sandwich, hot pockets, and Mountain Dew. There are also other drinks to include energy drinks. No alcohol is served there. However it is a B.Y.O.B. They have EVERY console and all the games to go with it. $ 7 an hour if you show up and use their consoles or computers. Or $ 3 an hour for bringing in your own setup. Plenty of tv’s and computers to use and they have xbox1 and ps4 available with the newest games with them. Also they play your d&d and Magic type games their too. So bring the clan to enjoy the space. The Internet is not that bad until it starts getting crowded. Then playing multiplayer games such as battlefield or destiny crucible matches gets difficult as all the internet is slowed down. Atmosphere is friendly and laid back. I use it because I’m visiting from out of town and this place is convenient. I’m giving it 3 stars because as a gamer lounge you have to have the Internet bandwidth to support the multitudes of computers and consoles that are going to be connected to the Internet. Also doesn’t help that I’m sure people are connected to their wifi all the time with their phones and tablets and they aren’t being used and just sucking up the bandwidth. All in all. Not a bad place to go and get your gaming fix on.

I was planning to spend the afternoon playing Rock Band. I made the proper arrangements, checked that everything I was planning was kosher, and was ready to rock. While setting up, a ‘manager’(some bald dude) took time to tell why everything I was doing was against the rules. I guess this guy was having a bad day, because Ive never been so condescended to so vigorously for so little. I don’t offend easily, but I was so pissed I packed up and left right then. I manage my own business. If any of my employees were to show a fraction of vitriol this guy did Id fire the shit out of them. I wasted time giving this place a shot, you shouldn’t. Edit: To his credit, I did speak to a manager after the review was written, and he did offer what he did. However, fact remains I wasted an afternoon packing up a bunch of gear and driving twenty minutes just to be talked down to. I don’t understand why I would be a theft risk for a $ 10 cable when Im bringing $ 300 worth of gear, and even if I was, there are better ways to handle it. You say I should asked for assistance, and asking is what initiated the tantrum. After speaking to the manager, I was willing to give this place another shot, and after reading this snarky reply, I’m not.
