I stumbled upon SAY Si a few weeks ago when attending an event for the San Antonio Cocktail Conference. The private event was held for media only for the pre-unveiling of their newest 2016 cocktail. The gallery/school was such a great venue choice for this event. The outdoor industrial feel was a great juxtaposition to the state-of-the-art learning space inside. Further in the back of the building was the gallery. There the student art gave the space a youthful aire that seemed to inspire the night’s celebration. I’d love to visit during the day time to really take it all in(minus the free booze). Thank you San Antonio Cocktail conference for such a great night and thank you to SAY Si for providing such an amazing space for our young artists.

This is a great non-profit center whose sole intention is to focus on the kids by providing four different style of creative classes. Throughout the whole facility you will see artwork that was created by their students; not to mention, available for sale! These kids are clearly talented and it’s great to see how their is a center that allows them to focus on their creative outlet. Don’t forget to call ahead and see if they’re open for public viewing yet they tend to have quite a few events going on year round. If you’re looking for an eclectic venue you should put Say Sí on your sites to see as they can hold almost 400 people in their open galleries!

Free/Art… does it get better? Wonderful little gallery and studio. While visiting them they had the interface show up which was quite a bit of wonderfulness to look upon. They do have a donation box by the door if you would like to drop a few bucks to help out the cause. I have read the other reviews so I would suggest calling first to make sure they have a show at that time.

I’m confused by Say Si. The other review seems to imply that there is art available to view, in addition to being a community resource for children who wish to learn or involve themselves in the arts. My boyfriend and I paid them a visit, hoping to peruse some Latin-American or local art and were turned away. There are several signs that suggest donations, entry fees, etc. which to me implies that this is a gallery to visit. Per a staff member we briefly spoke with, Say Si appears to be a community-based art studio for children, NOT a gallery. They were preparing for their«grand opening/Dia de Los Muertos» celebration. Perhaps it’s a grand RE-opening as the other reviewer posted her notes back in 2010. Altogether, the inside appeared to be very much under construction and the one worker who stopped to speak with us didn’t really address our questions. It’s a beautiful building with lots of potential, but the lack of information and available staff makes it difficult to exactly describe what this place is.
