Sage Cycles

For the love of god… stay away from this scam company… ordered a frame… returned it… no customer service. Had to go through my credit card company to get my credit restored.

IF this is the same as
and bikepartsexpress (their website actually says they’re in Heber City, Utah, although the website seems to be the same) this is a definite scam. I got burned because of the confusion. I’ve posted on the BBB and other review sites. Hopefully the word can get out there.

I was a bit wary about ordering from them at first because of the couple negative reviews, but decided to try
aka sage cycles out anyway. I ordered a pair of Pearl Izumi Enduro mtb shoes for a great price and when i emailed to check up on my order, Rick promptly responded. He answered all of my questions and went out of his way to make sure I received my shoes on time. Just like any other store, there may be a couple of bad reviews but I’m sure there are also hundreds of happy customers as well.

I too got scammed by Sage Cycles dba
. I wish I read these reviews before hand.
I ordered some brake parts on 1÷19÷13. I contacted the store via email (the 1 – 800 # is not valid) on 1÷29÷13 after receiving nothing or even an email and some guy named Randy responded quickly informing me that my parts are on backorder and it would be 3 – 4 weeks before they could ship them. He asked via email if I wanted a refund or to just wait. I instructed him to refund my money because I could no longer wait and had to secure them locally at a higher cost. I even thanked him for the quick reply, but it would have been nice if they had told me they didn’t have these when I ordered them.
I never heard anything else from them. I sent them 4 more messages (because the phone number doesn’t work) and they did not respond to any of them. Luckily my credit card did and I disputed the charges getting my money back exactly 30 days after ordering them.
This is not the way a small business should operate. I highly encourage everyone to read the mtbr forum that the one reviewer posted. It would have saved me a lot of time.

I never write reviews but I have had a terrible experience with this company. I ordered 15 socks and after many attempts to contact them by phone and e-​mail they responded that they only had a few pairs left and that the others were on back order. They said they would send the ones in stock but did not do so until I contacted my credit card company. They have still not credited me for the socks I did not receive. I would strongly recommend not purchasing items from this company.

«Sage Cycles» and the online E-​tailer «BikePart​sEx​press​.com» are one in the same. They seem to be running some sort of scam. Consider this a word of caution…
