Planet Bike

I’ve been a loyal client to this establishment, BUT today bursted my bubble! I have purchased 2 bikes from them, mine which was 2500 $ and my GF’s which was 1800 $.
I made a phone call to ask about tire repair for my sons 100 $ bike and I was told oh yeah 20 mins tops. I was like ok let’s do it. I drive 8 minutes down the road!(convenient)
I waited about 25 mins, then a young man came to me and was told «we’re very busy, so it’s probably gonna be about an hour»! I replied ok that’s fine I’ll be back later then. Before the young man came and told me, there was another «kid» looking frantically for a tire tube. My guess he didn’t know I was the one waiting. … I didn’t really care much at that time. I ended up getting back around 430pm wasn’t greeted and the young man pointed to the bike I guess because they were to busy surfing the web. I took the bike after I paid and noticed the back brake was dangling so of course I turned around and said um why is this hanging. Response «you brought it that way» seriously kid do I look like a moron!!! He replied well we will fix it for you this time but next time we won’t. WTF AFTER BEING A LOYAL CUSTOMER!!! Just be Leary about CSR there isn’t any!!!

Great bike shop! Have stopped in several times for accessories or if I had questions. Always have had outstanding service.

Really have enjoyed working with these guys. Went in to buy a 20″ bike for my son and really appreciated the excellent advice and great prices. When I went back to pick up my son’s bike, and because of the first class customer service and prices, I ended up buying a bike for myself.
Have really enjoyed working with the staff at both their Stone Oak and Bandera locations. Really good guys who patiently answer all of my questions and who expertly maintain our bikes.
In fact, I liked them so much, I went back a couple of months later and bought a bike for my wife as well.
These guys are truly the best in town.

Awesome little bike shop in the Stone Oak area. Their techs know their stuff and their turn around service is not bad. I have been taking my bikes to then since new and have not had a complaint. The sales and maintenance guys always have time to offer advice and will not try to sell you what you don’t need. They carry specialized and canondale. Did i mention they are pet friendly and local!
