The bartender for Happy Hour on Wednesdays and Saturdays is awesome! Fun to talk to and brings in a good crowd with cheap, but well made, drinks.

1st of all– anyone who says this is a dive bar has never been to a dive bar… 2nd of all this place has not a thing to do with New Orleans– there were some beads– no music/beer/booze /food from NOLA btw owner has a place called New York — which is nothing like new york… he should open a place called San Antonio and hopefully it will be nothing like San Antonio… and NOT in a granite strip mall… i would go there the two stars are for the bartender and pool table– although there were no buybacks– you would think i could find a dive in texas in 2 months uh uh

Came here last night with a friend of mine. First time here, Watched the game on TV at the bar, cheap drinks, $ 1.5 domestic beers and Jack&Coke for happy hour, you can’t beat that. Bartender is wonderful, kept us entertained. The best part? This place is clean! Clean place + Cheap drinks = I think I found my HH place in SA.

Really? On a Tuesday??? Wow. The bartender, Lacey, was spunky, fun, friendly and good natured. Very attentive. Despite how slow it was, not a bad place to have a beer. Has a dive feel with an upscale penchant for cleanliness… wait…what’s that? Did I just say that? Ok, ok, ok. It’s a very nice, clean bar-even the stalls have toilet paper for crying out loud! What kind of freaking clean dive/neighborhood bar did I stumble upon? I was expecting that damn dark, nasty, week old spilled beer smell I love bit I was plesantly surprised. New trend in dives???

I went here for Fat Tuesday! It was the first time a bar staff ever worked so hard to make sure I had a good time! They apparently have some great drink specials all the time, and for Fat Tuesday it was $ 4 Hurricanes and they were awesome! I had like 3 of those plus jello shots! It feels like a dive but it’s still nice and clean inside! They have a small white grand piano. Love it here! I think I’ll come around more often!

Finally found a bar in San Antonio that wasn’t playing house music! Dive feel even though the inside is super clean and modern. Great cheap drink specials and friendly attentive bartenders. Glad to have found this spot while in San Antonio on business.

This is now one of my favorite bars in San Antonio. It’s new, clean, and the bartenders are friendly. It has one pool table, two dart boards, three flat screen TV’s, and a Touch Tunes jukebox. Their outdoor patio is one of the nicest in the area. As the name gives away the inside is decorated in New Orleans theme, minus the barf, trash, and other junk you find after a long night of drinking in the Crescent City. Sorry, no Voodoo either. As a whole the place is spacious with a hand full of tall bar tables plus the main bar. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because i find the main bar to be a little small. All in all I dig this place and hope it remains a nice, clean, neighborhood bar. Honestly, my first instinct was to be selfish and not tell people about NOB in hopes that it remains a somewhat quite little establishment. But then I figured that would not be cool of me to not spread the love about NOB.

While the drinks are cheap, the selection is lacking. No wine? Very limited beer selection. Bartender looked at us blankly when we asked about several basic drinks, so we stuck to beer. Patio was nice. However, they way overserve drunk people, so be very, very careful out on the road(or in the parking lot) when you leave.

Great new neighborhood bar in Embassy Row. Great drink specials and still has that«new bar» smell. This was my second visit since they opened just a couple of days ago. They have amazing drink specials all day, every day. Their outdoor patio is still under construction but expected to open within the next week or so. It is a smaller location, but has a pool table and 2 dart boards. In talking with the manager, they have had a steady stream of people coming in to check it out, but so far the crowd has stayed fairly small which makes it easy to get a drink. My hopes are high for this new location which I think will be a benefit in comparison to other bars in the area.
