I have been buying their prepared foods from my local HEB for about a year now and mostly I have been happy. BUT, for the past 2 – 3 weeks I have been very disappointed and actually brought a couple of meals back for a refund. I hope it doesn’t become the norm because their food has simplified my life and makes eating a paleo diet more tastier. Another thing I want to mention is the weird taste of their chicken dishes. Hmmmm? Something has changed. If I could recommend one constant, great tasting item it would be their chocolate donuts. So good

If there was a 6th star to give, it would be awarded! The freshest and most delicious food and the bonus is that its paleo! The mix of flavors and ingenuity behind each dish makes for a mouth watering bite… and you’d wish you bought two. They hold the only USDA, paleo certified kitchen in the United States.

Excellent food! Owners and staff were so friendly and patiently explained their menu. 1st time visiting after a buddy recommend them. Stop by with the wife and picked up some pulled pork and some bison/butternut squash chili. Very good food. Very filling. Very DELICIOUS! Thanks Naked Coconut! You just got a customer for life!

Found they carry these at my local heb. So nice to have these and to support a local business. I had the general tsao chicken tonight and it was really good. I also have had the chicken carbonara in the past and it was above average. This is a great alternative when I don’t feel like/don’t have time to cook. I also got the paleo blueberry muffins today and they were pretty good too. There were like four other people in the cooler which I think is a good sign. If they were a little cheaper I would eat them more often and that’s where I take the star off. Portions are good though. One box works as two meals for me and fills the hubby up so he doesn’t complain he’s starving.

i was looking forward to the introduction of naked coconut eats at an heb not too far from my place(alon town center). i got a good variety of entrees and spent close to $ 100. this stuff is not cheap! but i didn’t have time to cook this week and wanted a healthier alternative to frozen or other premade meals. as a whole30(paleo+) survivor, i have come to really appreciate paleo options, especially in san antonio, where paleo options are few and far between. i also know that cooking paleo can be very time-consuming, from hunting down alternative ingredients like coconut aminos to extra prep steps such as making zoodles or cauliflower rice. so even though nce meals weren’t cheap, i was willing to splurge a little. i was pretty much disappointed all-around. i can’t recommend a single entrée i got. :(they were all very bland and the veggies were all wayy undercooked. might as well have been raw. i had to recook the thick spiralized zoodles so it defeated the purpose of getting premade meals to save time. everything needed more seasoning or salt(and i am already usually very light on salting my foods). the beef in the beef stroganoff was chewy rather than tender and the sauce lacked depth or substance. the meatloaf was dry and bland(with a quite scary looking non-homogeneous blend of meats) and had a paper thin dried-out layer of tomato sauce on top. the broccoli needed to be cooked longer. and the cauliflower«mashed potatoes,» one of my favorite paleo cheats, was runny and tasted like puréed baby food. the cauliflower stood out far too much to make it convincing. my salmon was overcooked and dry, lacking any ‘bounce’ or that wonderful sear i like on the outside. the fake rice that came with it did not complement the dish, nor did the overpowering seaweed salad(that was actually unsettlingly slimy… i could barely force it down, and i usually love seaweed salad). after adding some salt, the only thing that was okayyy was the meatball entrée(but again, undercooked zoodles). still wouldn’t purchase even that meal again. if i were new to paleo eating and had naked coconut eats, i would think that all paleo/healthy foods must inherently just taste bad. but this is definitely not the case! while on the whole30, i cooked every day and my even my most sketchy food experiments turned out way better than what naked coconut eats has to offer.(and trust me, i’m no chef. my activity on Unilocal just goes to show how ridiculously often i eat out.) anyone who wants to eat paleo without sacrificing flavor should check out the cookbooks well fed and well fed 2! they have the best recipes for cauliflower rice and shepherd’s pie/mashed«potatoes,» among so many other fantastic dishes! for now, it’s back to waiting for san antonio to get more healthy food options, and cooking my own«coconut eats» in the meantime.

I don’t eat Paleo regularly, but I’m definitely a fan of fresh and great tasting food. They are delivery only right now, but will be opening the dining room soon. The food is fantastic and healthy which is very hard to find on the West side. I can’t wait to eat there regularly when they open up the dining area.

I’ve been eating Naked Coconut Eats for every meal, over the past 4 – 5 months now. I started eating it about a month after starting Crossfit. I had read everywhere that paleo was the way to eat for Crossfit, but I didn’t know a thing about it. Tried it on my own at first with internet recipies and such, but finding time to cook was a problem, and I was wasting a lot of produce. Then, the owners of my Crossfit box told me about NCE. For me, being a single parent thought this was the most amazing concept ever. Delivered, pre cooked, healthy gourmet meals, for less than I was spending in groceries trying to do paleo on my own. Anyway after a month I started my kids on the meals too. Took them some getting used to, with all the new veggies, and variety of flavors we weren’t used to cooking with. But now we are all hooked. My performance in the gym has never been better. I’m in the best shape of my life and feel healthy as can be. Looking forward to crushing my upcoming competitions this year. And i owe it largely to my new paleo lifestyle which has played a MAJOR role in my progress. Naked coconut eats brings me my favorite part of the day, meal time, in a delicious, healthy, super convenient way. Right to the box I train at. I can eat it without even thinking about what is in it, because I already know it’s amazing fuel that my body craves. My life would cease to be complete without NCE. LOVEYOUGUYS!!!

It’s sooo hard to eat healthy and cook Paleo during the week without stressing myself out! Soooo glad I found this place just by googling«Paleo San Antonio». I told my husband there HAS to be a place here in town that does legit Paleo cooking and what do you know! Naked Coconut Eats. I checked out their FB and website; the food looked great and the ingredients being used interested me, pricing was average for these type of meals and I told the owner that protein portions were pretty important to me… I felt most«store bought/delivery meals(ex.Eatology, Zedrics) protein portions were too small for my lifestyle, the owner promised we wouldn’t be dissatisfied and I can say two weeks in, we are completely happy with the portions & variations :-)) This is as fresh as it gets ladies and gents. Like if I was to make it at home. ok maybe a little better! Lol: P They also deliver to my work personally, just tip the driver. It may be a slight sacrifice on the bank account but we make it work because it’s worth it and most importantly the food is made from scratch, minimal ingredients, fresh and actually tastes good… What a concept!
