Sheila is a rockin’ chick! I came to Moxie because of the great reviews the salon has been receiving on Unilocal.Well, those reviews hold true. I’m usually intimidated when entering a salon, even familiar ones, but I was immediately comfortable with Sheila. It felt like I was just hanging out with friends… While simultaneously getting my hair cut into a Mohawk… Thanks so much Sheila! I love the new cut and so does my husband, haha.

Sheila did an amazing job cutting my hair. She is very friendly and affordable! She washed, cut, and blow dried my hair and it came out perfect. I highly recommend her.

I found Sheila on Unilocal and called her after seeing the good reviews. I’m in town for work and needed to get in quickly and she was able to accommodate me shortly after. She washed, cut, and dried my hair (which is both very long and very thick) for $ 25.00. It usually costs me upwards of $ 60.00! I love that she recently opened her own business and I’m a huge fan of supporting small businesses. If I lived here (or the next time I’m in town and need a haircut), I’d definitely go to Sheila. Can’t recommend enough!

Sheila Torres, the owner of Moxie Salon, is a wonderful addition to the San Antonio salon community. Not only does she truly listen to what you want, she will help you figure out what you need to create a stunning look at an extremely reasonable price. Added bonuses — she took me in the same day I called and she doesn’t take 9 years to do highlights (if you are like me, you don’t want breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a salon while you wait for all your colors to process!) She is excellent at what she does, a genuine and real person, and a pleasure to know with a heart of gold!

Sheila did such an amazing job with my hair. I went in ready to change a previous color I had and she was able to turn it into a really great color! I’m very very pleased and will continue to go to her! So glad I found her and even considering her for my wedding! She is awesome !

I am beyond thrilled with the work that Sheila did with my hair. I had no idea that she could take my frizz ball hair and turn it into an absolute masterpiece. I am getting married in just 12 short days and she is even gonna come to the church I am getting married at to do my mothers and my hair.

My wife and I were traveling in San Antonio over thanksgiving break… and both in need of a haircut. We were staying downtown and found Sheila and her shop Moxie on Unilocal.We called her, were tight on time, and she worked hard to accommodate our schedule. Great first sign…
Sheila had just moved to SA & had opened Moxie in early November. Super great shop (which she decorated) and about the friendliest person we met here this week!
As for the hair care, if we could give 6 stars we would!
She’s amazing and we wish her the very best in her new business.

Sheila Torres the Owner and Stylist at Moxie Salon, did a fantastic job cutting my hair this morning. The price was very affordable, but more importantly the experience was fantastic!
Sheila obviously takes pride in her work and asked me plenty of questions before getting started, to ensure that she gave me the exact look that I was going for. She is very out going and we had a pleasant conversation during the cut. I highly recommend Sheila for your next haircut, she will definitely be cutting mine from now on!
