I hate to put this on Unilocal because it may cause me to wait longer but this is the best barber shop. Awesome cut for 15 bucks. Can’t beat it.

What a great little barber shop! Being new to town and needing a haircut is always a worrisome experience and usually results in some kind of hack job, but Metro delivered on the first shot! I was the first one to arrive and had a really nice conversation with the barber, I believe his name is Steve. What a character! He is super friendly and everyone who subsequently came in to sit and wait for their haircut he knew by name and treated them like friends/​family.
In terms of the place it’s small, but not cramped and has about 6 – 8 seats to sit in while you wait. Very old school feel and super clean. You can tell he really looks after his place well. He took his time on the haircut and didn’t seem to rush even when 3 – 4 people had come in to sit and wait for their cuts. The heated shaving cream and finishing edging with a straight blade is such a nice touch. You don’t find that too many places now a days. For $ 15, you really can’t beat this haircut! Next time I think I’m going to bring a couple of beverages and see if he’ll have a beer with me haha. Excellent spot, will be back!

Orlando outperforms. No excessive chatting. Two guard haircut in less than 10 minutes. 5 minute wait on a weekend morning. 15 dollar cut.

Best spot for a haircut downtown, Orlando is great, always remembers my cut and did after the first time I went! Prices are very reasonable and for the quality much better than all the chains in town.

After some heavy Unilocaling for a new place for a hair cut, I decided to give this place a try after the reviews I read. This is a no nonsense barber shop that has great attention to detail. Orlando did a great job with my hair and my beard. Will definitely be back again.
