Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt

Really Menchie’s? I’m all for pre-closing…but this is the third time I’ve been here in a few months. It was 9:15pm and the workers were already draining the machines! The past two times I came in they were conveniently out of my favorite flavors. I’m normally walking in around 9:30pm. At least I got here at 9:15! That hadn’t drained my favorites yet, but they’d put all the outside chairs and tables away. Love this place, but this is kinda ridiculous.

I love this place. All this while i don’t know why this place didnt caught my attention even though i come to this HEB every week ! Now I will stop here every week
They have good choices of flavors, variety of topping and great syrups –marshmallow & Hershey’s choclate shell are my favorites. On the health side, their products are from cows not been treated with artificial growth hormones (rBST), so its always better for you in the long term. They have products with no added sugar if you want to make a healthy choice.
Their prices are reasonable (haven’t find much difference from what i was paying at yogurt zone) They have a reward program smilage card, when you sign up first you get 25 points and you get to spend $ 5 in the store for every 50 points.
The shop was maintained very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I will be their life long customer.

The most delicious froyo in town at great prices. I could taste the quality ingredients in the yogurt. The staff was very helpful, courteous, and friendly. You made a customer for life!!! LOVE YOUR PISTACHIO!

Okay the staff is incredibly friendly and are not afraid to talk which is nice. The yogurt and topping selections are unbeatable! So much to choose but the good news is the prices are great so you can come back the next day and try some more flavors and toppings haha The other fantastic thing about Menchies is their adorable mascot! I’ve been to this location about 20 times and the first time I had to buy the plush version of Menchie, so cute! All around Menchies is a fun tasty place to grab some frogurt. :)

Did not have too many choices to choose from. Or at least none that appealed to me. I tried the pumpkin which was disappointing. The coffee flavor did not really taste like coffee. The best one was the birthday cake. Tasted just like cake batter. Lots of topping choices. They also has a rewards program and not too expensive.

I love Menchies. To be fair, I am a bit partial as I have had it before elsewhere. But I love it more than other froyo places. This location is especially awesome bc they have live music on the weekends, which helps give local artists a chance to show their talents.
Start out by using their taste tester cups found on the counter. Their selection of froyo flavors is a nice combination of fruity and old fashioned… with a twist. The toppings bar is very organized and clean. They have boba too! And when you’re done filling up your cup, it gets weighed and you pay per ounce. I believe my 8oz serving was about $ 4.50, which isn’t an absurd price to me for good froyo.

Great service, clean store, love the Fill up a Cup for $ 5 deal they have on Tuesdays. Wide variety of flavors and toppings. Wish they had more seating inside but sitting outside is nice.

The tart is what tart is supposed to be! Creamy yogurt, good toppings, friendly staff.

I love frozen yogurt. SO much. TOO much. I’ll give in sometimes and get it as a treat. I thought this would just be another run-​of-​the-​mill self-​serve frozen yogurt places that have sprouted up everywhere. However, Menchie’s is special! So much so, that they deserve a review. Their setup is great, their variety of flavors is great, they have a ton of unique toppings, and the first self serve frozen yogurt place to have Hershey’s shell! (I’ve always been disappointed that these businesses don’t seem to carry Shell). Even their spoons are unique. This is definitely one of the best self-​serve frozen yogurt places I’ve been to and I will definitely choose them over my other go-to’s from now on.

I love no corn syrup in most flavors.

Came in here the other night for the first time and I’m hooked and have a new favorite yogurt shop! The flavors aren’t as varied as other places I’ve been but their topping selection is fantastic and so well organized. The spoons are just too darn cute too. They have great deals going on, I will definitely be coming back on a Wednesday when they have an all you can fill your cup for five bucks! How great!

Yummy Froyo!!! Good consistency (sounds weird but some people want to know)… Lots of toppings, clean. Also there are rewards points/​happy faces which allow free Froyo every now and then. Friendly staff. All around good. I highly recommend them. (And I’ve had my fair share of Froyo in this city)

Just stopped by Menchie’s on their second day of opening. As soon as I walked in, I remembered exactly why I prefer Menchie’s over the other chain frozen yogurt restaurants. It’s simple, all Menchie’s have a fun environment, friendly staff, and unlimited samples! I hate going in to other froyo places and only given two itty bitty cups to sample several flavors. The store was incredibly clean, well lit, and fun. All the machines were humming and the employees were dutifully keeping the machines clean.
As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a very friendly staff member and owner. They asked if I had been to Menchie’s before, and indeed I had. They let me know what their newest flavors were and let me begin my yogurt creation.
As far as the quality of the frozen yogurt goes, it was perfect. Menchie’s yogurt is creamier and smoother than other places. I love the flavors they have, this time I went for the seasonal Harvest Pumpkin & Live from New York Cheesecake. I swirled them together. Next I headed to the toppings. I love the way Menchie’s presents their toppings. They have each one labeled in separate containers so there is no cross contamination. They easily have over 20 toppings from Reese’s pieces and butter cups, M&Ms, Sour Patch Kids, Gummy Worms, etc. They also have fresh toppings, including strawberries, kiwis, mochi, bananas, etc. They also have warm toppings, caramel, chocolate sauce, marshallow, and Reese’s shell.
All in all, I got a pretty big cup of dessert for under $ 5. I spoke to the owner briefly and we talked about their opening and how he prepared for it. I’m happy that San Antonio finally has Menchie’s for all their froyo needs.
With such a friendly staff, great frozen yogurt, and tons of toppings to choose from, I can’t wait to go back!
