Marco’s Pizza

Ordered Marco’s yesterday for the first time. Initially I was hesitant considering I’m a fan of one of the competitions, but I was pleasantly surprised that the quality and taste of the pizza was superior. The pizza was a Delux so it came nicely loaded with a big portion of toppings which included plenty of cheese. It is rare to find pizza places who put enough toppings unless you pay extra, but I wanted to test to see if they were as good as some of reviews had said and it paid off. The pizza smelled fresh, was great tasting and had lots of toppings for the regular price. Can’t wait to order from them again on cheat day.

Best pizza by far!!! I love just about everything on thier menu. And the service is just great… I’m truly grateful by thier standards.
But going back to the food. Thier dough… is so good! We’ve had every specialty pizza so far and I really can’t choose my favorite. It’s all so good.

One of the best pizza joints in SA. We order from here weekly! The staff is the best! Everyone is so friendly and respectful. I highly recommend this place! Not only is the staff great but they make such great pizza!!!

Pizza is great. The atmosphere sucks! The music is unbelievably loud — to the point that I couldn’t hear the cashier talk to me to take my order. And because it’s loud in there, I’ll never return.

Tried this for the first time this week and their pizza is AWESOME!!! I really find it far superior to all the other «pizza places» that will deliver to your home/​work location, and can’t wait to try the other types the offer. Had the pepperoni magnifico, and the extra large cost less than the other guys large pizza. The sauce was awesome, the crust has the good, yeasty «chew» that authentic pizza in Italy has and they loaded it with the two different types of pepperoni that gave you the soft and crispy meat to enjoy. HIGHLY recommend!!!

I ordered online; and the site was very user friendly. I would have preferred more pictures so that I could see all of what was to offer. I did carry out, considering it is walking distance from my place. The store was very cleaned & the employees were extremely productive, which is rare when the store is empty on a Saturday night, unlike the Chinese and Cajun restaurant. I was surprised, because it seems like it would be the setting for a great family or first date night. I was pleased they didn’t gouge me on Parmesan cheese, crushed red peppers, & ranch (which I feel should be a given). However, the empty scene made sense when I got the pizza home; the taste didn’t match the look. I’m glad I ordered a flavor crust, because in a sea of bland flavor and very consistent textures (not a good thing) the crust was the highlight. Marcos reminded me of Dominoes pizza, prior to the makeover. I’m hoping it was a fluke, so I’ll give them another chance, but I’m not optimistic. This food experience gave truth to everything that glitters isn’t gold.

Been to this place twice. Each time the messed up my order. The pizza was good but it wasn’t made correctly. The staff was slow to come to the counter on both times I visited the place. Second time I ordered subs and there was very little meat on the sandwich. It was like eating two pieces of bread with Italian dressing and nothing else. I sent an email to inform the of the service. They offered me free sub on my next visit. Not sure if I will take them up on the offer.

Can’t believe how consistent this place is at being horrible. We really miss living by the Babcock one which is much better. Incompetent managers with endless excuses. Whether it’s carry out our delivery, you are guaranteed a dry, bland and cold pizza. The sauce is very inconsistent and at times tastes like paste straight from a can. Drivers speed around like speed demons with no regard for pedestrians or other drivers. I watched as one came flying through the McDonald’s parking lot and almost hit a lady and child while I was pumping gas. Somehow my least favorite pizza chain Papa John’s has become my new go to chain. Tonight a Dodge came flying through our private subdivision flooring it around the corner and passing our house at a minimal of 50−60mph. Keep up the great work Marco’s

Great service and great tasting pizza. Very reasonably priced lunch specials. I come here probably once a week for lunch, always worth the drive.

YUMMO!!! We ordered pizza for a late evening at work and it was delicious! I’ve had Marco’s pizza from the medical center location, but this was my first time trying it at Culebra. Ordering over the phone was easy and moderately priced. For $ 40 we got a large deluxe and a medium pepperoni. The delivery came with a free order of bread sticks and not to mention plates and napkins. I was very impressed by the level of service and the wonderful taste of the pizza. I can’t wait to try this place again!

Super Bowl Sunday and I need a pizza for lunch. First really heard about this chain by watching an Undercover Boss. My daughter said she had seen one of their pizza delivery vehicles around while out and about. So knowing I needed something good for lunch I did a quick Unilocal search and their it was!
The location is brand new, neat and clean. About eight tables (all with napkins, Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes) or so, so kind of limited seating. But I’m sure they must get a lot of takeout. I was greeted soon after entering and the gentleman up front took my order. I’m a thin crust lover I went for a crispy thin pepperoni, green pepper and onion. Got to admit. I had to take a picture of the pizza while still in the parking lot. Photo tip — natural sunlight brings out the color in food! Noticed immediately it wasn’t the normal slice, but cut across the pizza twice to make squares. I had to try it as soon as I opened it up. It was nice and hot. There was an ample amount of fresh toppings (great tasting onions) with a good sauce that was lightly put on. It’s never good to rate nothing but sauce.
The large three topping went for $ 13.52, so not bad. I’m not sure when I’ll be back, but I will, next time I’ll try one of their specialty pizzas.

This is the best of the «fast food» pizza places, as I like to call them (Papa Johns, Pizza Hut, etc). Great sauce and selection of toppings. Greek salad is fresh and and a small is more than enough for two.

One of my favorite pizza places! The first time I had their pizza, it was amazing! The flavor and the toppings were delicious! Now the kids want Marco’s pizza. We enjoy the different varieties and the prompt service! Haven’t had their delivery as there seems to be a question as to IF they deliver in my hood. It seems it depends on who is working that night, yeah, so there’s that. But otherwise, the pizza won’t disappoint! Love it!

We ordered out tonight due to me not feeling well… It was my first time eating their pizza but my husband and the boys lived off of it while I attended LEO academy. I must say, it was so good! I had the meaty one with classic crust and garlic crust topping and omg!!! My unborn child was jumping for joy as soon as I took the first bite. I would recommend this place… It was a little pricey $ 35 for a small and xlarge pizza but its so worth it! The delivery driver was nice as well… He was «bumping» his loud music as he pulled up to our home. I couldn’t help but laugh because he was «jammin»!

I have never been to Marco’s pizza, but I will definitely be back! The restaurant was very clean and the fresh dough rising in the oven was the only aroma in the store. Being a new customer the clerk recommended us a special being a large two topping pizza for $ 9.99. Military discount is offered and that’s always a nice gesture to hear. The food arrived very swiftly, and server was very courteous. My opinion of good pizza is an excellent crust, and fresh ingredients. Marco’s pizza embodies both crust and toppings. Compared with other pizza locations I can say this particular pizza had made my top 5 list. Crispy crust, stretched cheese, tasty sauce, and savory toppings. I hope that this makes you give Marco’s Pizza a shot and always I will return!

I have searched high and low for good pizza in San Antonio and I have been let down so many times… This is a new pizza place and I found it by driving buy one day… I got the special large everything pizza and two topping large pizza for only $ 21.00 I didn’t get two toppings just double pepperoni and I substituted items on the everything pizza and didn’t get charged extra… I was greeted very warmly when I walked in and they if my pizza ready … This is some legit pizza … The crust is crunchy and flavorful and they ever have lunch specials on the weekends … Forget about Pizza Hut dominoes papa johns it’s all Wack in San Antonio … This is bomb pizza and great prices …

Quick, easy, pretty good pizza. If I’m craving some pizza and don’t feel like driving somewhere for good pie, I’ll order one here and it will satisfy the craving. Better than a dominos, but not better than a decent pizza place.

Awesome pizza. Awesome prices! Definitely the best fast food pizza place in town and actually offers a dining room to eat in.

Disgusting! I found pubes in my pizza. This pizza is fucking disgusting. DO NOT come here. I’m not one to be so vulgar but curly hairs in my pizza?!? I can not stand for this !!
