Shockingly slow service. Inept staff. How long does it take to serve 5 folks ice cream? I stopped counting at about 20 minutes. Not saying the kids behind the counter weren’t trying… they just seemed like they weren’t the sharpest knives in the drawer.

Marble Slab has yummy ice cream and this one in North Star mall has amazing people (especially Peggy Sue)! We stopped here and had the most excellent service and had delicious ice cream of course! What a great experience! I’ll be telling my friends to tell their friends about the friendly faces of Marble Slab in Northstar mall! Thank you!!!

Got a Strawberry Skydive. It was melted. Servers were rude and were more invested in their secretive jokes (probably about us) rather than actually doing what they’re supposed to do. Ruined my mood and my appetite. Never coming here again! Good thing I don’t live here anyway.

What an experience! I’m on vacation here with my family from Orlando, Florida and the Marble Slab where we live is amazing so we figured we’d stop by. All of the ice cream was pretty much melted! The manager said the machine was defective and gave us the option to go downstairs and take a hike to the other marble slab, but why would you serve a milkshake in a cup!!! Wendy’s frostys were thicker and actually taste like chocolate. I love marble slab back home, but this was pathetic.

This place has better ice cream than Cold Stone… Sorry Cold Stone. I had the Chocolate Swiss. Wow like eating hot chocolate, so smooth. Unlimited mix-​ins! Unlike paying an arm and leg for each one. The woman working was nice but needed a smile.
Right outside the Riverwalk mall, outside seating to people watch and sit on the river.

I typically like Marble Slab, but this site had a extremely rude employee working. First walking in the radio station had a bit of cursing going on which was weird, it didn’t necessarily bother me at first but it’s just not very professional, especially around Christmas. The girl came out the back and did not say a word! Just stood there and looked around. When asked if she was ready she came back asking «are YOU ready». I won’t condemned all Marble Slabs, but I’d pass this one up until they get some more friendly people working here.

This location is just outside of the mall, on the Riverwalk level. It’s a great location if you want to grab a treat and sit outside in the outdoor courtyard area and watch the boats go by on the water.
I was visiting the area and staying in the Marriot Rivercenter, and this was just outside of the hotel. I usually visit a different chain of ice cream parlor at home, because the Marble Slabs near me are not great. This one was different than those near me. The prices were high, but they included unlimited mix-​ins and were generous with the scoops. The ice cream tasted fresh as well.
I ordered a malt, and Robert who helped me out was friendly and happy, even during an after dinner rush of customers.

Usually when an establishment has only low ratings, you think it’s because a few people went and had a bad experience that they want to vent about. This is not the case with this Marble Slab location. They’re right off the Riverwalk in a prime location, which would make you think nice, efficient service. Instead, they are overpriced (a small ice cream is $ 5 whether it’s in a cone or cup) and dreadfully slow. If you’re at the Riverwalk, find somewhere else to eat ice cream.

Love their coffee ice cream. Husband likes the sweet cream ice cream. They always look at us weird because we don’t want any mix-​ins. We’re asked about three times and then they give up. But they are always so nice anyway. Be sure and tip them, because working that ice cream is hard.
