One of my most favorite places in town for a burger… today we take our daughter and grandson down for a burger… the appetizer was COLD… our drinks finally came out well after the appetizer… our burgers FINALLY got to the table the fries were all COLD the chili on the burgers was COLD the cheese wasn’t melted because the burgers were so cold… the really sad thing… there were only 2 other tables of folks outside and 2 tables of folks inside… not sure when we will go back… BOO!!! The service gets worse every time we go!!! Double BOO!!!

Luther’s is a San Antonio establishment, your classic greasy spoon place. My husband and I were in town for a Spurs again and decided to come out for late night snacks, drinks and spend time with his sister and wife. The Luther’s now is much different from the one time I came to Luther’s back a few years ago. This whole neighborhood has changed but for the better. It’s all upgraded and so fancy. This place is super chill, decorated with all the neon bar lights and dark wood. Service is decent. A few times we had to flag down our server to get more drinks. Food is your favorite late night snacks. We ordered queso and what I thought was a half basket of tater tots but I think it was a full. Queso was alright. Nothing exciting but just run of the mill queso and chips. Tator tots were hot and crispy just like I expect them to be. We didn’t have burgers which I know this is what they were famous for so maybe next time when it’s not so late we’ll indulge.

I have only been to Luther’s on a couple of occasions but haven’t had a good experience either time. The worst thing about the place is probably the service. The last time I went with a few friends, our server was really inattentive and took FOREVER to get anything out to us. One of my friends waited 10 extra minutes to get his food, and it was probably another 20 minutes waiting on our checks. We were one of only about four or five tables that was seated at the time. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable, but I would recommend against getting well drinks here. At least they’re pretty cheap, but if you want something that actually has more than a splash of alcohol in it, get one of their fancy margaritas! I like the atmosphere and the food at Luther’s, but other than that it’s not really that great of a place in my opinion.

Worst experience I have ever had at any fast food joint. To begin my waiter must of been the slowest, absolute worst I’ve had that’s served me. Took 25 minutes just to get an order of sweet potato fries then comes back and tells me that the cooks are working really hard. ONWHAT? As well took probably another 10 minutes for him to ask if I needed anything else, the funny story is Luther’s was no where near packed! As well he gets the order wrong and has the audacity to charge me what I didn’t even eat. Overall I still tipped the guy but this is definitely not a place I would ever go again!

The service here has always been great. The food is alright. The frito pie is amazing. Super fattening though obviously. The servers here have always been pleasant. Great place to go after you party it up. Wouldn’t ever just eat here though. I think it’s perfect food after having a long night of drinking. I love the music they play. One night I went, the Dj had me laughing. Don’t get me wrong he plays great music, but he was making moves with his hands as if he was scratching and mixing music but the song was just playing normally. It was cute lol. He was feeling himself

Luther’s is a place I frequent with my partner and our mates. I have never had a bad food experience there, however the seating and layout is a bit cramped, with 2 bars and a stage taking up A LOT of space, the tables are personal space invadingly close, and the people are somewhat sardine canned. All in all, it’s still worth it for the delicious tater tots!

I stopped into Luther’s with my sister, niece(8) and nephew(7) on recommendation that they had great Mac and Cheese. While the Mac and Cheese was delicious, everything else(nachos, tuna melt, & Cuban) were subpar. Also, the hostess was not very welcoming when we first entered. It was 2:00pm and definitely an appropriate time for the kids to have come along. In addition, the waiter was indifferent and took a very long time to serve us– no refills, no checking in– but the bill came in reallllll quick.

Luthers has always been«ehh» to me. It’s a fun experience just because it’s on the strip and I love their new building. The service isn’t consistent. I’ve been when it’s horrible, but the last time I went our waiter was exceptionally friendly. I love the bbq brisket sandwich and their fries are delicious. I wasn’t a fan of their ranch though. I had a drink from the bar. Nothing special but met my standards. I think their dessert menu could use some amping up. But that’s just my opinion. I also am dying to try their brunch. I’ll definitely update my review once I visit.

Been twice now, and gotta say… underwhelming. Why $ 8.50 for 4 potato skins? I expect at least 6 for that price. Not to mention, the quality of food is subpar. BLT was lame. Cuban wasn’t really a Cuban at all. It was toast with bland pulled pork and ham and weird pickles stuffed inside. Boneless buffalo tenders were almost of McDonalds nugget quality… but not quite. See you at some other restaurant.

Atmosphere: love The inside /outdoor bar reminds me of being on vacation. Love the tv’s and drink specials. The food on the other hand:/ — did not love it Ordered Hamburger– unfortunately it was flavorless . Didn’t come with fries either and was not offered any. Next time I’ll know I guess. Our server was new and I guess forgetful or overwhelmed. No kid meal options available during brunch:(. Oh well. Asked to see regular menu, just so I could get an idea of what was offered usually other than at brunch and was told one wasn’t available ???
