There was nothing outstanding about this restaurant. The food was good, the salsa so-so. I have had better, so I probably won’t be back.

Adequate at best! Service was terrible. Waitress mixed up orders(crispy tacos vs puffy tacos) gave them to the wrong person. They looked very similar(not puffyish) she would not make the order right. Actually said she wouldn’t exchange plate. I had asada, it was cold and tasteless. On the plus side the tortillas were excellent among with the red salsa

The food is amazing! Salsas have flavor, not just spicy. Their mini tacos are to die for. Only open until around 3pm. Get there early and u won’t be disappointed. Staff is friendly and the prices are very affordable

A great little taqueria ticked away in a large shopping center. This place is open for just breakfast and lunch and has daily lunch specials. I opted for the jalisco burrito with carne asada. It was delicious! Losoya makes more authentic style Mexican food, which it is ironic because there is a Chipotle-style burrito place right next to it. If you are looking for the authentic, go to Losoya. If you are wanting Americanized then try Habaneros.

Delicious Mexican food in San Antonio! Best barbacoa, corn tortillas and salsas! I went to San Antonio with all my family and wanted to try every single plate. This is real Mexican food, no Tex-Mex!

Seats about 60 with the new remodeling. I love their avocado sauce! The beans have a great meaty flavor and they have good homemade corn tortillas. The Alcalde tacos are my favorite but the frijolitos ATM are delicious too. They also have good taquitos. The service is always fast and attentive

Pleasantly surprised! Delicious salsas, suuuper tasty chicken tacos and the crispiest chips on the planet! Don’t be dissuaded by the hole-in-the-wall atmosphere. This place is a gem.

Meh… I’m new to the neighborhood and trying to find as many great breakfast places as possible. As others have said the service isn’t anything special. My bf liked his huevos a la mexicana but I wasn’t a fan of my Chilaquiles. Every place makes them differently but I just didn’t like Losoya’s version. I’ll try a different dish next time but I’m in no rush to get over there.

No one comes here for the service. This place is amazing though. Probably the best corn tortillas in the United States. Tacos are great, fresh and salsa bar is amazing … Service is never high up there but hey, its cheap, its good, its fresh. boom

A friend introduced me to this restaurant several years ago. Tucked back in a corner, it’s not easy to find, but it’s well worth the search. The interior is underwhelming, but overlook it and you will be rewarded with some of the best breakfast tacos in the city. If you’re a foodie looking to be woo’ed and coddled, this is not your place. If you want good food in a relaxed, friendly mom and pop store, you won’t be disappointed.

Went by on a Sunday morning to get breakfast tacos at about 7 am. They were just turning on the lights and I was told it was going to be at least 15 – 25 minutes before they would be ready. For a restaurant that has opening at 6 am on their doors and social media, it’s not good business practice to not be ready for 1.5 hours past that time. I like their tacos, but will do business elsewhere if I cannot depend on them to be open when they say they’re going to be.

Previous review says it’s better than Los Robertos. Doesn’t say much for this place. On par with La Choza, comparable but not better. Ordered huevos rancheros, eggs over medium. They served them over easy. Potatoes were room temp and the beans were probably out of a can. Table was«sticky» when I sat down. So I got whatever was on the table on my sleeves. So that’s not cool. Coffee was good. When you’ve eaten at Fidelo’s, you compare everything to them. No one on this side of town has come close to their awesome food. I’ll continue to look just because I can. But won’t be coming back to Losoya.

The food was inexpensive, good authentic breakfast. The food came out very quickly and tasted good, but the service was terrible. It seemed like there was only one waitress for the entire restaurant. She only came to our table twice, to take our order and to bring our food. We had to get up and get our own drink refills and salsa. I would go back, but not during a busy time.

It was either wait for 65 – 70 minutes for Magnolia or take a chance on this little Mexican café. I am glad we didnt wait. Great menu, great value and really authentic breakfast tacos. Loved the barbacoa and la mexicana. Sauces are were smoky or spicy and both tasted great with our food. I wouldnt hesitate to make this little place a priority next time I am in town.

This place needs a lot more attention! Cheap, delicious, and no-frills. Arguably better than Los Robertos around the corner, IMO. The«trash can taco» is the sh! t: $ 2.20 for a bundle of eggs, refried beans, bacon, sausage, carne guisada, cheese and who knows what else wrapped up in a delicious flour tortilla. With a cup of coffee, you have a mean breakfast you’ll remember.

Losoya was a huge surprise. I had lived less than 1 mile from this restaurant for more than 4 years before giving it a try. A recommendation from a friend got me in the door and I was blown away by the quality of the food in this mom and pop place keeps me coming back. Great salsa, homemade tortillas and fresh ingredients! Try the Taco Nortanias(Not sure of spelling. Will correct here on Unilocal after verify)

I’ve never eaten here for lunch or dinner — but I’ve been hitting Losoya’s up for breakfast tacos pretty regularly for the past 5 years. They are so so so delicious. The restaurant is un-assuming. Tucked into a strip center near a lazer tag. But it shakes of the lame vibe and is very bright and modern feeling inside. Their chorizo and egg or potato egg and bacon tacos are some of the best I’ve ever had!

This was the first Mexican food I ate when I moved to San Antonio and I can not believe it hasn’t been Unilocaled yet. Unilocal! It is a hole in the wall — literally. Very small, very quick service, and very cheap. See, the problem is that it is situated precisely next door to the famous Habaneros Grille and so most would think they have no chance to compete! But I moved here in 2006 and they are still going strong. Their tacos are delicious, their meals are filling and darn good. Instead of doing eeny meeny miney moe, just take it from me — Losoya’s should be the pick. There, done and Unilocaled. I feel much better.
