Just ok. Their tortillas are good, but I paid $ 7 for a plate that couldn’t even make two tacos. Little annoying. I think I’ll stick with the one on dezavala and Babcock.

Over priced. 2 breakfast tacos and a coffee cost $ 10.00. They charge you for everything

Very reasonable prices, casual and low key. I come here sometimes to for breakfast/brunch on my day off. Good burritos! Decent sized menu, no complaints; generally something for everyone. Tortillas are legit. Give it a try!

The food is great. However, the quality of staff is so poor. This place has degraded in customer service over the years. I’m starting to phase it out of my rotation.

Love this place. We look for the best flour tortillas and these are among the top we’ve had. The food is always hot and tasty.

I had breakfast tacos. Pretty good tortillas. Fluffy eggs. Chorizo was good. I need to explore other dishes to give a solid comprehensive review but the tacos were different from my traditional breaktac experiences. If in the area, give it a shot. Very small shop in a strip center.

Absolutely loved this place. Situated in the middle of a strip mall with a Whataburger to one end and Papa Johns to the other, I’d passed this place numerous times and always wanted to give it a shot. I am so glad I did! The staff here was excellent. When placing my order she was able to provide me with insight(and warning) as to what was in each taco and how spicy it can get. I settled on two papa al la Mexicana and one papa ranchera. The tacos were HUGE. Anyone who knows me, knows I can throw down w/some breakfast tacos, but I couldn’t finish all three. The green salsa they have was amazing. I covered those tacos and went to taco town! But be careful-that stuff packs some bite! I was just about sweating, but it was so good, I didn’t care. Needless to say, they will be seeing my face back again. Big delicious tacos, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Yeah-they won themselves a regular.

My favorite taco place in San Antonio! Great service and amazing Salsa. Moving away from SA and gonna miss the chilaquiles tacos the most!

Wonderful food! Breakfast tacos are amazing, but wear your full armor when you go in. I’m always amazed at the complete unhappiness of the service. Oh, and if you look up strip mall venue in the dictionary, their photo is there. Don’t eat in, togo!

This is my go to taco place for breakfast tacos. There tacos are fresh and hot. The bean and cheese is the best around. I have purchased tacos between 8−12am at least 30 plus times in the past 2 – 3 years and they are always the same. Very consistent. The tacos are cheeper the earlier you go. I have also taken tacos into my work and my co-workers enjoyed them. So its not just me. Give them a try.

Great portions! Family run business with family like service! Breakfast tacos are huge, one maybe two will fill you. Nothing special but definitely hits the spot for the right price! Migas was real good. I’d come back.

Why do Mexican breakfasts have to be so greasy?! I wish I could request for them not to smother the eggs in oil. It’s already fattening enough that your eating a flour tortilla. Sadly I used 3 napkins de-greasing my huevos mexicana & still had oily hands when I scooped it up ;(The salsa also tasted very vinegary & gave me the impression that it might not be too fresh, so I didn’t smother it on like I would’ve liked to. What is good about this place & hence why the rating is not 1, is the considerably economic prices. I think breakfast for 4 was under $ 15. I also appreciate some items being on the menu, that typically aren’t found other places like tortas & gorditas. I also like that breakfast doesn’t stop at 1030. This is a hole in the wall kinda place though, with maybe 25 tables & very bare bones seating. Though I like the potential of finding a hole in the wall go to Mexican breakfast spot, the level of grease & expiring salsa doesn’t make Jalepenos my stop.

Some of the best flower tortillas I’ve had in a long while. It’s worth stoping in just to pick up some. Would also highly recommend the beef fajita gordita. The beef fajita is pretty good and the gordita is very good. Unfortunately everything else was extremely mediocre and rather overpriced at that. Best for picking up tortillas and a single gordita, not much else.

The food is awesome! Great prices and high quality. All of the food is prepared to order. The flour tortillas are the best. The daily lunch specials are very reasonable for the budget conscious, and the portions are large. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is spotless. Best Mexican food in the area.

The Huevos Rancheros are It’s the ranchero sauce that makes it complete. I’ve had the breakfast tacos too. They’re a good size and the tortillas don’t seem like more tortilla than taco. When you order, get the green sauce. But beware. It’s really spicy and oh so good.

Only visit for breakfast tacos since I work an overnight shift from home. Starting Tuesday mornings until 10am I believe, they have 99 cent breakfast tacos! And they are not the $ 0.99 breakfast tacos you are used to. These are big, loaded tacos. The family is very personable and makes you feel like your eating at their home. 4 starts only bc I work Sunday night– Monday morning and they are closed.
