Excellent — a little hole in the wall, but outstanding tortilla (I had corn), good fresh ingredients, very friendly service. And very every reasonably price — generous lunch specials are a mere $ 5.99. Fun.

First things first — the handmade corn tortillas will cause you to swoon. Delicious! Friends tell me the flour tortillas are also very good. Their food is all yummy and most affordable, especially the weekday lunch specials.
The place itself is nothing fancy, but the staff is very accommodating. And this weekend, while I ate there on my lunch break, a couple of musicians came in and offered a lovely interlude. I REALLY like this place.
And yes, you can pay with a credit card, just maybe not ALL credit cards. Go to the river walk for that.

Came in with a group of fifteen people around 2. They could accomodate us. I just had a bean&cheese and two carnitas de peurco. The b&c was good. The carnitas came regular or «hot spicy,» naturally I got both. The hot spicy had a good heat and flavor to it. However the carnitas were basically cubed porkchop. I didn’t enjoy it. Also they don’t accept American Express as we found out.

Good service with a smile. Great décor. Generous portions. Easy access. Not crowded. Authentic Tex-​Mex dining. The flour tortillas melt in your mouth. Oh, the coffee is good, too.
