Service is great, but the cheese is never melted in the breakfast tacos and they’re hot just barely warm. 1604 near bandera location

Went here with several friends for breakfast. Very good Mexican place in a large diner type setting. This place serves a mix of authentic Mexican food and also Tex-Mex. So, you can find chilaquiles or menudo, but also get your fajitas and flautas. We liked their huevos rancheros and their breakfast tacos a lot. Food was fresh and came quick. It is open 24 hours as well and apparently, they have a few locations.

I had the Chicken Flautas. They were very good but the beans were very dry and looked like they had been sitting around a long time. They were also stingy with the salsa– there were two of us, but I saw a table of 4 still only get one small bowl. People are very friendly though.

Normally I go to the Las Palapas near my home, but decided to check this location out for lunch one day with some co-workers. The service was fine — quick and accurate — and we were able to get in, get out, and get back to the office within an hour. My favorite thing on their menu is the Al Carbon Salad, which I think may have been even better at this Las Palapas location. All of the ingredients on the plate tasted very fresh and flavorful, including the quite generous portions of fajita beef and chicken that came on my salad. I will definitely be back!

Waited 15 minutes in line for 2 tacos(bean and cheese, really not that hard), got charged for the tacos and received the wrong order. Complete with only one taco. No time to go inside and wait again. Get with it, tacos aren’t hard to make.

Great restaurant, always get the huevos rancheros. They are cooked to your specification, and the sauce is perfection. Love the hot sauce and chips. Staff take pride and are very friendly and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable. Service is excellent!

If you are not from southern Texas you do not know real authentic mexican food is until you have eaten here. Its almost laughable and pathetic what some places call a tamale or flauta or other mexican dishes. Whatever you get here will not only be the most delicious mexican you ever had, but it will be 100% authentic served by really nice people. Our waiter yesterday was so nice when he knew it was my first time there answering any question I had. Plus open it is 24⁄6! Amazing!

No greeting at door, slovenly attitude(except waitress, who was very nice). The food was lukewarm, and the ambience was very depressing. There is much better in SA.

Always a great breakfast I love the fact they are open 24hours. Service is fast and the coffee very hot all the time. Location is good and very ease to access the only problem sometimes we have to park far way due to the small parking lot. As a tip they do a great job if you order by phone. Any time we had to order food, the pickup was very quick. That means a lot when you have to take food quick to your office. Overall great place in San Antonio.

It is what it is. Fast food quality food. My biggest issue is the food took forever to get to our table. Margs were very weak. My Burrito was ok and my wife fajita was ok. Wouldn’t go back. If I wanted fast food I will go to Taco Cabana or Taco Bell.

The food is always good! I love the chicken tortilla soup combo! Bean and cheese tacos are delicious. The food never disappoints. The only thing is they always forget something. So double check before you leave!

Awful service, I’m mean all the way up to management. The evening store mgr(Elisio) is a complete and utter fool, who gets easily aggravated and will refuse to offer any help, and only refers you to the gm. The general manager offered little to no help when prompted by their home office, whom I had to contact when I was given the run around for over a week. They went way out of their way and did everything in their power to not replace my meal when they didn’t give me what I ordered in the first place. When they did finally replace it after I had to call their corporate office and threaten to talk to the owner, I was given a portion of food that would be considered disgraceful in any other restaurant. I will never eat here again, nor should you! They have over priced sub par food, and they are completely rude about any disputes made. I had to call the corporate office three times and inform them of how awful I was treated and that I would not be giving them any more of my money. I can only assume nothin was done. Avoid this place, and don’t let your family’s or friends suffer through it either. I will be telling everyone how bad this store and the management is. That’s a promise! If I could, I would give 0 stars. If anyone reads this please pass it along. No kidding terrible place to eat, unless you like being treated poorly when you don’t get what you order.

The service sucks! The wait staff is VERY unprofessional. If there is a wait and you leave your name on a list, good luck. You have to know someone to get seated. We waited for 10 min only to have a lady and her son come in and ask for a specific server, and they got seated immediately. This wasn’t the first time it happened either. There was another customer at the counter wanting a refund, and the manager in charge would not give her a refund, he kept offering to replace her food. We will not be coming back. The only reason they get one star is for the food.

I am in heaven! As a Southern Californian, Texas Mexican food is just not right. Finally found a place with an Asada Taco that is Mexican food to me. So happy. Know where I am eating for my regular Mexican fix

Consistently good to very good Mexican food. While esposa and I are not fans of chains, our«Las Palaps» as we call it is an exception. We have never waited for a seat. Staff always greet you with a smile upon entering. Ambiance is typical tacky Mexican(whaddya want, a Jewish deli?). Breakfast is available all day. Everything here is consistently good. Margaritas are very good – not the best in town, but at these prices very hard to beat. Cars line up in the parking lot for the drive through – a sure sign they’re doing something right. The only negative – closed on Sunday. Solution: go to their location on I-10! OVERALL: DELICIOSO. HIGHLYRECOMMENDED!

Salsa good — test 1 pass Chips good — test 2 pass Tacos good(beef fajita and Asada). Be sure to ask for onions and cilantro. They came out ice cold after not getting them until I ate one whole taco. I like this place because it’s reasonably priced and leaning more towards Hispanic instead of tex mex especially with the variety of tacos. The tacos and food quality are very good. With bad handling of my taco condiments I still rank this as 4 stars due to the quality. Service could just have been an off night but I’m about quality food and there food is very good for the price.
