Meh, I’ve definitely had better. $ 14 for a bland prosciutto & mozzarella sandwich and a bottled water — definitely should’ve just gone to La Gloria across the way. There are better«healthy» choices in the same vicinity. At least the employees were extremely courteous!

Ugh, I ordered a «flatbread» pizza. Pizza had a fancy name and $$ price to go along with it, but it was greasy and had absolutely no flavor. It looked no better than a grocery store frozen pizza with extra grease and cheese piled on. I should’ve walked a few more steps down the terminal for a pizza from the chain Famiglia place. Would not eat here again. Had I not been rushing to catch a flight, I would have gone back to request a refund. There are better places to eat in the airport than here.

I don’t expect much from food at the airport, but my goodness, how bad can you mess up a sandwich? First, I asked the person cooking the sandwiches if he uses butter or olive oil to warm the panini’s and he told me he didn’t know. I asked him if he could look at the Pam can that he used to spray the panini machine down, and I guess that was too much to ask because he ended up throwing the can to another worker to ask them. Then, I asked if I could have the turkey sandwich without goat cheese, and the worker told me the sandwiches were pre-made, even though I saw the person cooking preparing the sandwiches all himself. Needless to say, the customer service is horrible. I ended up ordering the Chicken Provolone Panini and the panini had a burnt, greasy taste to it. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!

Girlfriend and I ordered a «turkey avocado» wrap, reasonably expecting to find both said«turkey» and«avocado» on said wrap. Got wraps — behold — no avocado. Asked about it, and was told it «was in the spread…» Pretty misleading move… Places that serve Thousand Island dressing on their burgers don’t call them«cheese and pickle» burgers just because there’s pickles in the dressing… While we were eating, some other guy complained about the exact same thing. Maybe customers don’t like false advertising. Expensive for what you get, and there’s no fountain for complimentary water so they gig ya for another 3 or 4 bucks right there. Cashier was very friendly though, so add a star for friendly attitude…

I just read a review by someone who may not have known that this is a) airport food and b) actually what a «to go» meal would be in any Mediterranean place. This is not a gyro place, but a real medi café. They have a good selection of sandwiches, salads, an flatbreads, and finish everything for you right before you eat it. It’s all high quality and the service is good. I actually can’t eat bread so I asked that they give me the portobello sandwich on a pile of lettuce, and the chef actually mastered the lettuce wrap!(Mind you, this is Texas, so that’s a big deal). I am totally impressed, and would recommend to anyone who wants a reasonable and fresh meal. Yum!

Where’s the beef? Or the bread and the meat? I ordered a Cilantro Lime Chicken sandwich and was underwhelmed. Yes, it tasted like lime chicken, but there wasn’t much chicken or red peppers. The sandwich looked smaller than a Whataburger bun. And the kicker… It was over $ 10 with tax. I won’t be back.
