Excellent Food and Service! There are few places you can go in this day and age that have food and service as excellent as Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. As I tried to decide what doughnuts I wanted, a friendly employee offered me a fresh, hot(free) sample. It was delicious, and I decided I needed to get a couple of those. The staff was patient and helpful as I made my selection, and as I ate I watched the doughnut conveyor belt make them. It was such a neat experience. If you’re looking for a doughnut place with a little extra pizzazz, you definitely need to try Krispy Kreme!

The WORST customer service(by a MANAGER) I have had in a long time(with the exception of the person who checked me out and took my money). I walk in around 8am requesting 2 dozen pink glazed donuts with sprinkles. The manager states that that would be special order and I would have to call 24 hours in advance. I told her I did call yesterday morning and received the answering machine, I left a message. I realize nobody had called me back by the afternoon so I call back again, once again I get the answering machine(I even call for a third time and just give up by that point). I walk in this morning to request the donuts I TRIED to pre-order and the manager tells me I needed to call in advance. I tell her I tried several times and she proceeds to tell me that she was answering the phone all day yesterday and basically is just telling me I am lying because she repeats herself 3 times. She does not say sorry and just packs my order(of the donuts I had to settle for) and that’s that! TERRIBLE!!!

Came here about 6:30am on Sunday morning. We specifically drove out of our way to get to a drive thru since we have our dogs with us(road trip), but the drive thru was closed. Bummer, but not a huge deal, we just went inside. It was a little after opening so there were only a few people in line. I went to the restroom while my fiancé waited to order. They were completely out of toilet paper and the restroom was absolutely disgusting, pee all over the toilet, trash on the floor, and they just opened! We got a glazed donut, a glazed with chocolate, a ham and cheese kolache, and a sausage and cheese kolache. Overall the food was good, but the kolaches were way too hot. I wouldn’t normally complain about something like that, but we let them sit for about 10 minutes or more in the bag and the first bite I visibly burned my lip from the hot dripping cheese. It’s been over 12 hours since we went there this morning and I have a pretty large welt on my lower lip that I’m not too happy about, it hurts quite a bit actually. I’m thankful I at least waited the 10 minutes, I can’t imagine what would have happened if I had bitten right through it.

This is a sad day. I’m officially done with Krispy Kreme at Stone Oak after the last 5 experiences. Terrible customer service. Gilbert doesn’t care how he makes an over-priced drink. Ever. Today was no exception. Told they didn’t have a bacon kolache after I paid, and I didn’t want a different kind, so I waited 5 minutes for fresh one due to them not wanting to refund my money. Severely uncooked. Tired and hungry, I bit into my 4 years old daughter’s pizza kolache. Severely uncooked. As in moist dough! When I approached calmly and quietly about the 2 uncooked kolaches, there were no comments, just an attempt to have my credit card. I had paid in cash. I then commented that it was sad nobody seemed to care anymore at this location. Response: «I heard you.» I said, «Yes, and you don’t care.» «I can tell them in back, there’s nothing else I can do.» I just thanked them, as there is clearly not an attitude of caring people could get sick from UNCOOKED food.

I will probably not be going back to this krispy kreme. I have been there at least 4 different times in the morning at 6AM and there has not been any hot donuts. I know of at least 2 other people that have had the same problem. Each time there is a different reason. I go out of my way on the way to work to pick up donuts for the office. After being told that donuts wont be done until 7AM, I am stuck sitting in line waiting for the other orders to fill so I can leave. They advertise being hot at 5:30 and open at 6:00. This has not been the case. Extremely disappointed in this store.

I haven’t had a Krispy Kreme doughnut since Atlanta, GA, oh how I miss them. Do we ordered a dozen of fresh &HOT now doughnuts :-) The place was very clean, the employees was very friendly. They even gave us a sample of hot doughnuts. Oh and for a bigger treat Dwight Howard came in and ordered too. If I lived close and in town I would return often.

Earlier, our daughter reminds us of Krispy Kreme’s 12:12 event .I think I need a sugar rush so we went. they gave us free samples of hot & fresh doughnuts directly off the press. So delish & really melts in your mouth. I ended up ordering tons of doughnuts!!! Hahaha.

We scheduled a tour with 3 families we home-school with. The store was very helpful and showed us all how doughnuts were made. The kids loved seeing everything and each employee was smiling and nice. Thanks to all!

I can’t help it — I have a sweet tooth. And my daughter had her first KK doughnut the other day, so we came for a sweet, Friday family brunch. Eric at the Sonterra location is so incredibly helpful, I wish every food service person and waiter I had was like him! He was patient when we were selecting our dozen, kept adding items to our order, and brought the coffee to our table. He also brought my daughter a Monster doughnut — which she LOVED — and kept checking on us making sure we enjoyed ourselves. We certainly did!

The best donuts in the world. The first time o tried them was back in 2004. I never looked at other donuts ever since ;). I even tried to bring some back home for a friend of mine. But they didn’t survive the 10 hours trip to Amsterdam(NL). My friend did appreciate my action though. When the red sign lits up… there is only one thing in my mind :)

This locate is the best! I’m not a huge fan of the glazed donuts but the employee Tristen(name on name tag) was super helpful with finding my perfect donut. So sweet! I left KK with tons of jelly filled donuts and a smile on my face. I will Forsure come again, I’m hoping all other KK employees are just like Tristen!

Krispy Kreme donuts are always fresh and you can get in and out quickly. When the light is on it’s a bonus to get that fresh off the line glazed donut that melts in your mouth. A great treat for the kids on the weekend. Had to update after I got home and the kids and I ate some of the donuts both of the jelly filled only had about a quarter of the donut filled.

The fresh, hot and FREE donut they give out when they’re making the donuts is right up as one of the greatest sweet treats I’ve ever eaten. It simply melts in your mouth. For the uninitiated, when the big round center of the Krispy Kreme sign outside is lit up, they’re making donuts. This means that you can watch as the machines drop rings of donut batter into the hot oil, see them cook on one side before they’re mechanically flipped, before finally going up the conveyor belt to be glazed under a waterfall of pure sugary goodness. This is also when you’re handed your hot and fresh donut! The selection at Krispy Kreme isn’t very big but what they do make, tastes dang good. They really only have a couple of varieties — classic round dressed up in several different styles, and filled donuts with different glazes and fillings. If you’re looking for variety, maybe you should try another donut shop. Along with their donuts they sell hot coffee(and cold, too, I think), milk, and some juice. There are hats for the kids, and merchandise to show your loyalty. They have a sufficient amount of seating, and even have newspapers for your reading pleasure. The donuts are sweet so please don’t pan them for«being too sweet»!!! I mean, their name is Krispy Kreme! Anyway, if you don’t like donuts, Krispy Kreme donuts in particular, see a doctor — your mouth’s broken!

My favorite donut and my favorite location. I’m not a ‘Shipley’s fan’. Where I come from you drive far and wide for Krispy Kreme. JUM! JUM! Go inside, they’ll give you a hot donut off the press then you can pick and choose from many yummy flavors. If you don’t love Krispy Kreme donuts then you may want to make an appointment with a psychiatrist, pronto!

Krispy cream is running a scam. They will profit from the towing that its enforced in their parking lot. The management is obviously in on it. I question the integrity of their business operations. I hope Krispy cream and their shady associates go out of business someday.

This review is in no way a knock on the quality of their food, it is however a strong statement and outright question of character of the people that run this particular Krispy Kreme Franchise. This location has an empty dirt lot located directly behind the Krispy Kreme, which they allegedly own. They have chosen to post ‘towing enforced’ signs and tow any vehicles parked in the empty lot, which by law is within their rights. Most vehicles that park in this lot are dining at the neighboring restaurant The Brick House, which has little to no parking available on a busy night. There can be anywhere from 5 – 25 cars parked in the dirt lot on a busy night. Krispy Kreme makes no qualms about towing ALL vehicles parked in this lot at one time. Now one might say, ‘well, they warned you by posting the signs’. However, once you have to deal with the establishment that they choose to use as their towing company ‘Advanced Towing’(off Bandera and 1604), you begin to really question if this is about Krispy Kreme exercising their rights as commercial lot owners or a well-oiled monetary scam that the owner and/or manager of Krispy Kreme is in on. The State of Texas caps the towing fee at $ 250, however many large cities typically charge less than this. Interestingly enough this is the exact amount that Advanced Towing charges when you pick up your vehicle from this particular towing situation. Also, both the tow truck driver and the people that run the shop can be labeled as ‘shady’ at best. If Krispy Kreme would like to make a financial profit from allowing other restaurant patrons to use their empty lot, why not charge a per vehicle fee to park? Something just doesn’t seem morally or ethically right about this situation.

I don’t crave donuts much, but when I do it’s Krispy Kremes. They’re so moist and fresh that they practically melt in your mouth. I’m a huge fan of crème filled donuts and they pack it all the way through. I also love sprinkle donuts too. Give them a try!

OMG who doesn’t love Krispy Kreme… ughhhh especially when the HOT light is on! This location isn’t ever overly crowded like the I-10 location and the employees are all very respectful and approachable. I always love asking them if they get to eat all the donuts they want but their response is always«you get tired of them after awhile». Ted K. wasn’t kidding around when he compared them to crack! I mean they are sooo good! Who knew if you got off your car when the hot light is on instead of shamefully(hoodie and all) going through the drive thru, they give you a hot sample! Why are all Krispy Kremes located near the most dangerous parts of the highway! Sheesh… I suppose it’s worth the risk LOL
