I love Artisan’s Alley but all of these little boutiques are stocking exactly the same stuff: cutesy country-​chic accessories and décor that looks like it came from Pinterest or Etsy. I would say that this just isn’t the place for me, but I actually found some cute coasters for a friend’s housewarming present and a pair of earrings for myself.
By the time I got home, the earrings broke– I had to use krazy glue to get a gemstone back on, and then the first time I wore them, the post fell off the actual earring! It was children’s quality jewelry with a grown-​up $ 18 price tag. If I didn’t live across the country, I would have gone back for a refund.
