I’munique Hair Artistry

Wonderful haircut experience! I called early on Saturday to ask if they had any availability for the same day. Carlos, whom I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and patient with all my questions. I came in at the scheduled time and was greeted by some really friendly staff. I was immediately introduced to my stylist Sarah and she quickly took me to her chair where I showed her pics of what I was looking for. I quickly felt comfortable as she knew what I was showing her and understood what I wanted. Sarah gave me exactly what I wanted, took her time, and explained all the profucts she used as she went along. I got my hair washed, cut and blow dried for a very reasonable price. I also received a consultation for hair color, which I will probably be getting in the near future. Overall I was very satisfied with Sarah’s work. I also observed other stylists doing their thing and am looking forward to trying them out too in the future! Give this place a try! I think you’ll be satisfied.

I am a hair stylist hopper. I hop from one stylist to another, trying to find the right fit for me. I finally found my stylist at I’munique. Mauricio is amazingly talented and his staff are so incredibly friendly and warm. I felt at home right away. The one thing I love is that Mauricio is constantly training his staff. They all do a little something. One does shampoo, one does blowdry etc. but Mauricio does the actually color and haircut. He trains his staff for a year before they earn their chair. The other thing I loved is that I was told exactly what the cost would be for the color and cut upfront. Other places I’d have a heart-​attack from the price and the service was already done. His prices are very affordable which is a bonus too. Can’t say enough praise about this place!

I have been a client of Mairicios for the past 4 years and my better half Chris has been going to him since 2006 – 2007 religiously following him everywhere. Mauricio has a warm heart and amazing talent. He can connect with anyone. I have always feared of anyone cutting my hair and no longer have to worry about that! He started this company and it has spread like a beautiful wild flowers! He has kept up with the modern taste in the shop! My favorite sign is about wine escaping out of a bottle… It is clean, the girls are very nice and talented as well as keeping up with the newest hair styles. When you walk in I am always welcomed quickly with a smile. They have comfy chairs in the back by the hair dryers! And a Keurig! The best part for me is Mauricio cutting my hair. Before he does anything he reviews exactly what I want and you don’t have to worry or have the instinct of mistrust when he starts perfecting you hair. They are big on Redken products and can recommend various items that would help your type of hair or even scalp issues. Chris has crazy dry skin and Mairicio has fixed that! Chris has a specific hair style that I don’t see him changing anytime soon but is very particular of how and what is done. He even gets his eyebrows and ear hairs checked and cleaned up making him look clean cut and set for his casual business attire for work and ME! Of course I love that they serve wine and make you feel like a million bucks and that you completely belong there when you leave also! Check this place out!

I moved to San Antonio almost two years ago and once I discovered Mauricio and how awesome he is, I won’t go anywhere else! It will be hard to find this level of service and talent when I move again. Highly recommended!

Mauricio is the best!!! I don’t trust my hair to just anyone, ever since I moved to SA I was worried about my hair, thankfully after MANY mistakes I found Mauricio, and my hair is his and only his!!!

Mauricio is the greatest. He does such a wonderful job cutting my hair and his prices are among the best around. The staff is always friendly! I love going in because Mauricio and his team always make me feel stunning. Wonderful atmosphere!

I absolutely love this place! Mauricio and his crew treat everyone like a rock star. Every hairstyle is unique and he provides the best advice on what will look good. I had really long hair, and now almost a Pixie cut, and I LOVE IT!
They listen to what you want but will provide sound advice if they feel the look you want won’t work well with your hair type, hair color, face shape, etc. I appriciate that they take their time with every client. Even though they try and attend to every client in a speedy manner, they don’t rush the process and see that you and your hair get the detailed care it deserves — so if you are looking for a quick cut, this may not be the place for you. However, even if you have to wait, they have Netflix streaming on 2 TV’s with subtitles, awesome music playing throughout the whole salon and offer you beverages (water, soda, wine, beer) AND offer you a hand massage (if there is an intern available,) all at no extra cost to you. They even have lovely smelling hand lotions and body sprays in the restroom, on top of nice cloth hand towels.
They don’t leave a single detail out, because I truely know my experience with them is their priority, and they want me to feel unique and welcomed every moment of my visit. The prices are reasonable, and the environment is open. They don’t try to up-​sell you on hair care products you don’t need, but they will recommended Redken products your hair will benefit from (trust me, I was using all the wrong stuff till I came here.)
I cannot say enough great things about I’munique Hair Artistry. I’m hooked, every time I’ve gone there my experience has been phenomenal!!! 5+ stars!

Best stylist ever! Mauricio knows his stuff! He works hard and has some of the most diligent associates! The atmosphere is upbeat and while sitting waiting for the color to process I never feel «forgotten» about!

Mauricio is an awesome stylist. I can come in and he know’s exactly what styles and colors go good with my face frame and complexion. Mauricio has been my stylist for well over 5 years. My daughters now come to him too. His salon is very upbeat and his staff is very friendly and attentive. You can also book your appointments online! I really enjoy my hair cuts with Mauricio! Not only do I get a great haircut but I love getting my hair shampooed. Each time I visit I feel just like a member of the family. Thank you for all the special time you spend with me.
