We met Monte by appointment in front of the Alamo where we heard his spellbinding story of the battle of The Alamo. He is a real history buff and could answer all of our questions about the history of Texas, not just the Alamo.
Be sure to hear his story before or after your tour of the Alamo buildings. He brings history to life!

While I attended a convention and only able to catch the last 10 minutes of viewing part of the Alamo. I was just in time to hear the story about the Alamo. Monte, our storyteller, told us this story of the Alamo, I felt as though I was there! People gathered and it was free will offering into the hat. He was better than any taped headphone set. He was very knowledgeable and gave people his time to answer plenty of questions.
Monte is a must see while at the Alamo plaza! He even mentioned he has other points of interest in town to tell about… I can’t wait to visit again. Monte will be on my list.

The story of the Alamo told by Monte from StoryTellers was phenomenal. I learned more in 20 minutes than I did walking through the Alamo itself. He tells the story of the Alamo in a captivating story narrative and gave me perspective of the situation as if I was living through the situation. It was awesome! There were about 15 – 20 people standing around him who eventually realized he was legit and sat down to demonstrate none of us were leaving as we wanted to every bit. You don’t want to miss the story of the Alamo told by Monte and his fees are whatever you wish to drop in his Texan hat.
