Hampton Inn-Northwest

I’m giving this place four stars, but I wouldn’t necessarily call it a four star hotel.
In all fairness, I have only stayed one night. My girlfriend’s best friend and her boyfriend were in town and we went out with them. i got a little more than wasted hanging out with them at the pool and we wound up just staying the night. So, I guess I really wasn’t a paying customer.
We went down to breakfast with them and it was pretty decent. The beds were very comfy (luckily, they had to take a double since there were no more king rooms otherwise I’m not so sure I would’ve stayed!)
The thing that makes me give them four stars is the integrity of their staff. My girlfriend left a very important piece of jewelry there. She placed it on top of the tv and forgot about it. I was sure they would say they never found it, especially since she didn’t even remember it was there for about a week (she was a little wasted, too). But when we finally tracked it down, they still had it. Apparently they had contacted her friend but she’s a little loco and, since she didn’t lose anything she told them it wasn’t hers.
I would actually pay money to stay there!

I’ve stayed at many Hampton Inn’s and have always really enjoyed them, though this one is definitely one that does not meet and expectations.
The building is old and though they did try to put their «Hampton Inn» touch, it was poorly done. The usual nice and witty banners in the elevator were crooked and peeling, the walls had random stains and the carpet was indeed worn down.
Our room was standard. Old furniture, bed was okay with soft and cuddly pillows.
Biggest complaint was the shower! The water never stopped dripping! It was more a steady stream than a drip! We didn’t get the chance to report at first due to visiting family in the hospital, and by the time we returned and passed out, it was late and elephants could be doing the conga and we wouldn’t have woken up. In the morning we go to shower and NO
HOT WATER! Even to say luke warm would be too kind. Though we were in a hurry to visit with family, we braved through it and just wanted out of there! We went to stop by the front desk on our way out but they were too busy and we needed to go.
We will definitely not be staying at this hotel again and would highly recommend you go elsewhere. Plenty of better deals
and options and hot water elsewhere!

I traveled here on business and was pleased. Nice location — a bit like a giant strip mall, but I didn’t come for the sightseeing, and there were plenty of decent restaurants nearby. The breakfast buffet was acceptably unspectacular. Clean, pleasantly decorated room. I also got a free upgrade to a room with a very nice king-​size bed — pillowy and soft, with excellent sheets. I’d stay here again.

I stayed here recently visiting my relatives. Nice location just off Loop 410. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Hampton Inn has the same formula at their franchises. Nice and clean but nothing fancy. Room was clean, and the soft pillow like bed was really comfortable.
The price includes a nice breakfast buffett in the morning. Very nice for mid-​range to lower range in price. I would stay here again and do recommend it.
