H-E-B

I normally have few complaints about this HEB. The staff is always courteous and generally knowledgeable about the products. The store, though not the best, has a fairly decent selection avaliable. My biggest issue with this store is in their deli department. It is usually understaffed and the staff they do have is extremely slow. Most often there seems to be a little old lady, bless her sole, but she takes forever to fill orders. Tonight I waited for a solid 10 mins before leaving. Sadly there was only one customer in front of me and his order wasn’t that large. This was at 6 pm and during a time when HEB was busy. I’m not sure why they can’t properly staff the deli department but this seems to be a continuous issue.

This HEB is easy to get to, right off the highway. It’s easy to get in, and out of.
I do appreciate how they’ve got an expanded chili pepper area. They offer a much wider variety of peppers than other HEBs across town. They’ve got several types of peppers dried, and many more fresh.
However, their produce selection does leave some to be desired. They were out of a bunch of fruits and veggies. There just wasn’t the selection that you see elsewhere. It’s not that they were out of everything, they never had room for it in the first place!
The prices here seem to be fair, but since I haven’t been to a grocer other than HEB for such a long time, I really wouldn’t know if they weren’t fair. They offer the usual services that other HEBs offer, such as postage stamps, garage sale permits, etc.
The cashier was helpful and fast. I appreciated it when she flagged me down because I forgot a bag when I was leaving!

i love this store alot not as crowded as the plus stores and they have some really beautiful girls working there. one girl that works there looks just like katy perry and i even told her she does and that made her day.

If you’ve been to one H-​E-​B you’ve seen them all :) And this one does have some of the extras I like to take note of. This location has a mailbox drop outside. It is closer to the far left entrance (facing the store) and is kinda tucked back outta the way, so be careful you don’t miss it if you’re needing to drop mail. This H-​E-​B also has a bank inside with an ATM. And there is a fuel station outside. I did notice there was a nail salon inside too.
While perusing the aisles for yummy snacks, I took notice that staff members could be spotted throughout. Personally I like this. It’s discouraging to walk into a store, need help locating an item and first having to hunt down someone to assist. While in the produce section I did notice the employee rotating the veggies he was working with. Nothing a kitchen critter like me enjoys seeing more than FIFO :)
Checking out was a breeze, the young lady was friendly, and reminded me to visit again. And I probably will!

This has been my HEB since the dawn of time! Its very convenient, just walking distance for me and close to 410.
The section of items here is very good. Its not a huge HEB but carries a variety of things.
I like buying the cakes from the bakery. One time, I bought a chocolate oreo cake for a small party. It fed everyone and was very tasty!
