Not to take away from income from the Alamo gift shop, which uses profits for the upkeep of this landmark, but this place has super cheap tee shirts and post cards. Why pay $ 0.85 when you can get three postcards for a $ 1.00. You can get one for $ 0.34, so go for it! This place has other goodies too, some 7 – 11 prices, others affordable. The sales lady was very friendly. I resisted the urge to buy a Texas tee shirt just because it was $ 5.00. Go to the Alamo. Spend some money in the gift shop, then walk down the street and get some postcards for friends and family.

This is your general variety convenience store/souvenir stand. Convenience store items are marked up, but plentiful. Drinks, snacks, flip flops, anything that you may have forgotten in packing, but now need. Souvenirs are basically everywhere: Shirts for $ 5, cowboy hats, postcards, paperweights, bells, Alamo replicas… the list goes on. There won’t be an unique souvenir here, but if you need a quick, thoughtless souvenir, this is the place to go.

Just a block away from the Alamo. Get your Alamo souvenirs there for much less expensive than at the Alamo gift shop. Lots of Alamo and San Antonio souvenirs including cheap t-shirts, sweatshirts, and postcards. Aisles of OTC drugs and medicine, snacks, water and drinks.
