Just like the previous reviewer, I got a Groupon for EJ’s Sweets. Their phone number kept transferred to their voice mail so I emailed them on 2 of their email address and no response while their website said that they will contact 48 hours after purchase. Hmmm… it has been more than a week, almost 2 weeks and nothing. 24 hours pre-order required. Sad to say, there is no way to pre-order or make any inquiries since their customer service seems non-existent. Made a complaint to Groupon and I’m waiting for them to refund us. Lesson learned and I will ONLY stick to Cupcake Couture from now on.

I didn’t even want to give them one star! I ordered cupcakes from them using a Groupon, for my daughters 16th birthday. The lady I talked to was very polite and offered several times for a Saturday delivery. It was a rainy day and the order was supposed to arrive between 10&11. At 1230 I called, no answer, but I received an email stating the driver should have already been at my house. At 2pm, still nothing and I was able to talk to Eva, who explained that I was using a groupon and she said she was sorry and that I should just be OK. Sometime close to 4pm, I was notified that the driver was in an accident, Eva didn’t really know who was running the shop, and that she was on her way from Austin to deliver the cupcakes. I quickly replied and advised her to cancel the order, I was going to Nothing Bundt Cakes, and we wanted a refund. Now, we have found out she validated the coupon and received her money. This is now being contested. Horrible business practices, bad customer service, and liars.

I bought a Groupon for EJ Sweets and have attempted to redeem it numerous times. I either get no response or a short, abrupt response when they do respond and still no confirmation about delivery.

I also bought a Groupon with anticipation of some yummy lemon cupcakes for a coworker’s birthday ¼/13. I emailed my order in a week before Christmas, 2012& not hearing any response, I tried to call. It went to voicemail, so I left one advising of my intent. Never a response. I tried every workday to see if possibly the voice mail wasnt being delivered. I like to give every benefit of the doubt. Finally, with the birthday party only days away, I called Desserts To Go & he filled my order with only 2 days notice! I will be contacting Groupon for a refund. I KNOW they would want to know of this sorry service!
