Denny’s

I went here for breakfast this morning. The food was decent. The thing that really bothered me was the fact no one behind the counter used gloves. I made the mistake of sitting at the counter and watched these waitresses and garnish station and not one person had gloves on. The girl doing the toast, kept going back and fourth on the touch screen with her fingers then pull toast out of the toaster and then put bread in the toaster with her bare hands. One guys English muffin wasn’t toasted enough for him so she walked it back over with her bare hands to darken in. There were people garnishing what looked like 4 kids pancake meals with no gloves either. Reaching into the Oreo container with bare hands and placing them on the plates. My order had an order slip right on top of my food. Really, on the food?

Food good, but as the only customer at the bar, I was stuck watching liberal propaganda news as they refused to change channel. I wanted the weather channel.

Daughter had a blowout on I 75 and we’re stranded at the flying J. Came in to this Denny’s while tire was repaired; and had a wonderful experience. Our meals were absolutely delicious but the highlight of our night was our server;a lovely, elegant lady named Debbie. If you have to break down off of I 75, try to make it close to the Denny’s on State Road 52 and ask for Debbie!!!

Something has changed… worst meal and not bending of changes when ordering. …no manager came to table when we questioned problems… neighbor table sent food back twice for being cold… what has happened? ??

Relative to Denny’s-like restaurants, this is a pretty clean, quick and friendly place. The food was tasty and parking was very easy.

It’s a Denny’s connected to a truck stop gas station, a perfect cliché! I ordered the standard Denny’s «slam» breakfast it was ok but my expectations weren’t to high I mean its Denny’s your not paying 6 bucks to eat gourmet. All in all it met standards and I walked away full that to me is worth 3 stars on the «Denny’s Scale».

The burger meat looked a bit like what you’d expect from fast-​food quality restaurants. I was a little perplexed that they started charging for Seasoned Fries as well. Oh well. It’s set in an… «interesting» location that gives it that trucker stop feel for real.

So, yes, it’s connected to the Flying J travel center and might be spooky for single women traveling alone late at night.
But walk in, and it’s really ok. Clean and modern, and yes, there may be tables full of nothing but truckers but that’s ok too.
Food is good and service is helpful. I like to have my pepper spray with me here as well.
