MUCH better than the 410 location. Even though it’s smaller, it feels larger. The games section has a good flow and plenty of space around you. The staff we interacted with was fun & helpful. We had an issue with a game & it was fixed in a jiffy. Our teen had a blast on a Saturday evening w/her parents! LOL! Restaurant seemed pretty busy but typical for Downtown dining. Moscow Mules are good! I’m sure there are kinks here and there to smooth out but overall we prefer this location. Will return.

We had a huge group show up to D&B’s around 11PM on a Sunday night after our convention had ended and I felt terrible about it when I found out that they’d only opened a week before! Our server, Ashley, was wonderful and accommodating. Although there were a few mix-ups with beers and food orders coming out wrong, Ashley always got it taken care of with a smile. The atmosphere was fine and the staff seemed welcoming. Kudos on handling a 20+ person group late at night on a Sunday, like champs!

Looking for a fun night out with your friends and family? Hope you are ready to have a long list of rules thrown at you. I understand needing some rules to keep everything in order, however, this Dave & Busters takes it to a whole new level. There are rules on what you can wear, rules on how many people must be present to sit down to eat, rules on how old you must be to bring your child to play. Per their rules you must be 25 years old to bring anyone under 17… Hope no young parents want to bring their child out for a fun time at the arcade… If you are considering coming to this place I would highly recommend going to the Dave & Busters on 410 or better yet go to Main Event.

First, the location whether you are drinking or not cards everyone at the door. My best friend had a paper ID from the state, but they did not want to let her in. This occured until we said let us speak to your manager. Manager comes out and tells us he can’t let us in, but once we start telling him that the policies state what they do he changed his answer. He began to tell us that we were being to rowdy, but we were not at all we weren’t pointing fingers in his face or yelling extremely loud. We apologized since he was making it seem like we were out of hand even though I knew we weren’t. We order food and then my friends meal didn’t even come out until we had all our food and were already leaving. I’ll stick to the 410 location, because this one doesn’t have anything that will bring me back in here. I’m sure the people with kids rated this place with flying colors, but it left a bad impression on me.

This place is an amazing new addition to downtown San Antonio! I’m so excited have D&B downtown for the arcade and environment. Unfortunately, their staff has lacked training under«hospitality». I visited during lunch hours and late night on their opening week to see the new spot! The environment is energetic, music is great, plenty of bar space and games. I returned for dinner on 1⁄20 and was apprehended by rude door guys demanding ID’s. Bar staff was non-attentive, I had to watch the bartender check their cell phone while I asked for a drink. Someone left their phone at a arcade game and I basically begged the bar staff to hold it. The only highlight of my night was the games and the arcade attendant. This place is cool but service is always #1 and Dave and Buster’s lacks. Nice try.

If the grand opening at Dave & Busters is a preview to their daily environment, then I give them two thumbs up. The awesome service and attentive staff at this Dave & Busters will be a great addition to the River Center area. We will definitely return!
