Bed Bath & Beyond

So many gadgets to choose from. What are some of these things?
Just needed a shower curtain and some pant hangers. Found a curtain on sale and settled for some clip-​type pant hangers. It’s so hard to find the old style plastic hangers that just clamp down when you toggle the hook part. The wooden versions must be made of mahogany or some other pricey wood because they are very pricey.
But I do enjoy this store, if not just for being able to view stuff that I don’t have a clue about. Oh, well.

Ridiculous discretionary application of coupon acceptance.
Recipe to piss off people and go bankrupt:
1. Inflate prices
2. Issue coupons all the time
3. Do not honor coupon unless it’s most recent one issued
4. Have manager come out, waffle on whether or not he can honor 20% coupon, state that we always honor 10%, and offer to help make customer go online for immediate coupon in order to get 20% off.
5. Lose sale of 1 of the 5 customers in the store.
That’s app 20% of your potential profit at any given time, not counting your now complete loss of future business.
At some point as a human, even store managers must accept responsibility for the fact that a service business is a SERVICE Business.

Why does anyone shop here? The prices are ridiculous!
I won’t shop here unless I have one of those 20% off coupons that flood my mailbox. It seems that they jack up the prices so they can be competitive with the coupons.
The place is huge, but it’s clean.
There’s virtually no staff to help you out if you have questions.
I do like that they do offer gift wrapping for free if the item is on a wedding registry or something.
The whole store is sort of confusing in the layout. I never know where to find what I’m looking for. I end up wandering aimlessly for a while until I stumble on what I came for.
At least they have those massage chairs set up for you to try out, in case you get tired from wandering aimlessly through the aisles.

While I do really like this company, I’m not a big fan of this branch — here’s why:
First, this branch lacks the Harmon’s section (their beauty and hygiene component) as well as the vast array of what the bigger BBBs have in terms of kitchen goods. I was disappointed with the missing Harmons, as I always used to buy my discounted beauty projects there.
The store is very clean, and the staff are helpful. There are, per usual, lots of deals to be used from pots & pans sets
While the BATH section is definitely the star of this BBB, I wish there was more of the beyond component.

They greeted me at the door! They helped me find things! I found some really great things I havent seen anywhere else and just could not live without… like a special towel for gently drying my hair and a personal humidifier to take to work… I really enjoy this store!

Love the staff who go the distance with being customer centric! Kudos to Krista, Christina and Stephanie… thank you very much for helping get my OXO dish rack! Loving it!
Classy attitude from the staff and clearly the best Bed Bath & Beyond store in San Antonio!

I love BB&B, but I only go there when I have a «20% off any item» or «$ 5 off a $ 15 purchase» coupon, so maybe that’s why I like them! They offer a wide variety of cookware, appliances and household items. If you need anything from a broom to a new pillow, they’ll have it at BB&B.
I had a similar experience that Erk. B. had – a posted price combined with the discounts on the sign didn’t add up to the price I was charged, and the manager explained to me that most customers don’t read the sign they way that I read it, which gave the lower price, and eventually he gave me the discounted price I insisted on. :) So beware that the signage at BB&B can be confusing, I take this into consideration now whenever I shop there and see an item on sale.

All your household needs under one roof! A bit overpriced at times, so go armed with a coupon.
They sell k-​keurig cups — better selection than H-​E-​B. They have the cool tumblers to use for hot and cold drinks — I use mine everyday! Love it! They have cute ones with cool designs or your initials in pink — my favorite color! You can also buy matching lids for them.
