Located along Babcock Road just a bit south of Hausman Rd. This park is connected to the Howard W. Peak Greenway Trails System and connects directly with the Leon Creek Greenway. So in addition to the local Bamberger trails, you can also hike, run, skate, or bike to the Leon Creek Greenway and then other parks from there. The park is AWESOME and pristine. Seems to be free of trash/waste and not overly busy with bicyclists, etc. Some of the trails are paved(asphalt and/or concrete) while there are plenty of trails that dodge into the brush for good mountain bike riding and hiking. An abundance of birds live in the park and it’s great for a day of bird watching. I saw two roadrunners while I was there along with many other species of typical back yard birds. I love this place and I can see myself returning on a regular basis.
