Always have a great experience here. All of the employees are always very friendly, helpful, and know what they are doing. Eddie who was great today was able to answer all of my questions and able to help me find the correct router I needed for my business, let’s just hope it works great! Thank you Eddie!

I cannot say enough good about this store. Awesome customer service. Very professional. I was in early in the morning. They diagnosed my computer problem, fixed it and I was on my way.

Ordered 20 pcs of an item to be shipped via ups red. the parts were urgently needed. Received the parts next day but the order was short 1 piece. Cannot complete and ship my project now because of the missing piece. Called Altex, they only offered to credit me 14 lousey dollars off the 64 dollars they charged for the overnight shipping. Stay away, they do not take full responsibility for their own mistakes. Wish I could give them no stars.

Hell. Yes. A electronic/computer supply store that isn’t trying to make you lose your mind. JUST. LOTS. OF. ELECTRONIC. STUFF. All the stuff that places like BestBuy and Radio Shack stopped selling long ago — computer cases, wires, leads, battery cases, fuses, simple cameras — all the stuff you need for DIY computer and electronic projects. When I walked in, the guy knew exactly what I was talking about and took me to a solid WALL of battery leads. Next it was off to another wall of cooling fans. Looking around, you could see a big variety for every kind of component you could want, plus glorious bins full of wire, fuses, and the little pieces. Not to mention a table full of clearance stuff at the entrance that harkened back to the good old days of Best Buy returns on Christmas morning. Oh god, heaven. For a big city, SA has a lack of hobby shops for specific needs, but Altex fills the void for wire heads.
