This place has an amazing team. Unfortunately, if you are not on that team, you will be marginalized and serve as merely a monetary support for the it. That team is all they really care about. My daughter went here for a year and a half. She loves gymnastics and we were enthusiastic. We noticed that she seemed to be stuck at a certain level. The unfortunate thing is that they made no effort to help her get beyond that level. It was though they had just stopped trying. I noticed their lack of care about three months ago but my wife and daughter were so happy that I just didn’t say anything. The thing that brought it to a head was that one night the coach decided that they were going to try out for acrobatics. We were unsure what this was all about because the acrobatic trials were not for several months. He made up some sort of routine with moves they had never done and had them recreate it. My daughter was super pumped and excited for the whole week waiting to see if she got on the team. When she arrived next week he told her that none of them made the team. Evidently it was not really even a trial it was just some sort of way for the coach to tell them that none of them were good enough. Understand, he didn’t try to actually teach them any of the moves, he just threw this out there and crushed all of their hopes. It was kind of his way of telling them that none of them were any good. We decided to go elsewhere for our needs. VIP Gymnastics on Rainbow Drive is amazing. We are going there now and our kiddo is much happier. Try VIP if you want a great school that helps all the students, not just the prima donnas.

My daughter only took a trial class here however she was very uncomfortable with the coach. Through the glass window he seemed flustered while working with my five year old. When she came out she was very upset and stated he was not nice. She took gymnastics in NC twice a week over the summer and so she and for a year in CO last year so this was not her first experience in a gymnastics class. The moms in the waiting room seemed really cliquey and almost upset that a potentially new mother could be enrolling their child. I was really uncomfortable in the waiting room and even called my husband to come sit with me while I was waiting. None of the staff offered to sign us up for classes after my daughters trial class or asked us what we thought about their gym. In fact when I tried to talk to the person at the front desk they ignored me! Between my child feeling uncomfortable with the acro coach and myself feeling unwelcome I can not say I would recommend this place.

I took tumbling lessons at the location on Higgins when I was in middle school. I cheered for a Pop Warner team but took lessons here since we didn’t tumble at practice. Carl was the coach who led the class. He was great at showing beginners basic techniques for round offs and back hand springs. We began each class by doing conditioning exercises and then moved on to tumbling. Fast forward a few years later. When I joined the Holy Cross squad, we went here for tumbling once a week. We also made use of the mats when we needed to work on our competition routine. There is an upstairs and downstairs area. The upstairs area is for young gymnasts. The downstairs area has two trampolines, a tumble track, and a full size competition floor. Carl was so great about letting us use the gym at the hours we needed. I’ll never forget how supportive and encouraging he was when I was just starting out. He brought out me out of my insecure pre-teen shell and believed in me when I wasn’t sure that I was really capable of becoming the kind of athlete I wanted to be. If I have a child and decided to put them in gymnastics, I’d like to bring them here.
