Michael DeFino is an outstanding healer, exceptionally skilled, compassionate and intuitive. For over 6 years, he has consistently restored me to health and balance — often alleviating pain and discomfort from challenging injuries. He truly cares about his patients which in today’s medical climate is an extraordinary offering. His knowledge about the body and nutrition is like no other.
Over the last several years I have referred many friends and family members to him and, without exception, he has dramatically helped every single one — often when no one else could. His track record speaks for itself. I’d give him 10 stars if that were possible!

He was empathic and kind. However, he was really no help in treating my candida and gut inflammation. He suggested many things that actually made my health worse. I REALLY would not suggest going to him. I don’t know how he is as a chiropractor, but in terms of using him to do muscle testing to help treat gut issues I would not recommend him as he is expensive and there are other routes that I think are more helpful. I found ayurveda to be cheaper and vastly more helpful.

Dr. Michael DeFino is my go-​to health care practitioner. He always offers a safe, non-​invasive, natural approach to healing. In all my experiences with him I come away with my issue resolved, and feeling better informed.
Michael’s attitude and demeanor is also as healing as his skills. He truly cares. This caring extends to his office manager, Nora, who is always a joy to communicate with.
I can truly say I am a healthier individual because of Michael DeFino. I recommend him often. I hope he never retires.

I almost don’t want to write anything, because I don’t want him to get too popular. I like getting appointments easily. That being said, Michael is the best. I have an ongoing extremely debilitating illness for two hand a half years now. Michael has been the only one out of dozens of doctors (including doctors at UCSF), acupuncturists, chiropractors, etc who was/​is able to bring me some relief. At a time where everybody had given up on me, he showed me that treatment is possible.
He rules. He is funny, too. But please don’t go to him. As I said, I like getting appointments easily.
Nora and Laura also rule.

Michael Defino is a miracle worker. I initially went to him suffering with seasonal allergies. Working with him, my allergies are completely gone. On top of that, after 10 years of not being able to get up in the morning, I’m now rising two hours earlier every day. After needing sleeping pills almost every night, I’m sleeping better than ever — without medication. Lastly, I was having hot flashes every day, and now they’re completely gone as well. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Michael is incredibly gifted with compassion, knowledge and skill that is rarely found in such balance and harmony in the healing arts. I have been working with him for five years on chiropractic adjustments and nutritional counseling. In both areas I am healthier than ever before, and without exorbitant expenses. I feel better just waling into his office, with its soothing music, calm atmosphere and friendly, helpful people — Nora, the office manager, is just as fun to work with as Michael and just as helpful. I cannot recommend Michael DeFino highly enough — a genuine bodhisattva of the healing arts!

Of all the medical and healing practitioners I’ve ever been to, Michael is by far and away the most gifted. On a scale of 1 – 5, he rates a 12. Not only is he an amazing healer, he’s kind and attentive… and he completely understands my need for chocolate.
