Worst dentist ever! Very much more expensive that the better dentists in this area. My fiancée went to get a temporary crown and this woman tried to get me to start a credit card –offered by her for dentistry only, to put her «$ 10,000» of needed dentistry on.
This woman even went as far as to say that, and I quote «without this, sex would be very uncomfortable»! I should have played her and asked what she meant.
I couldn’t believe what I was hearing and we’ve not set foot in that office since. And never will.
I tell everyone that mentions using her as their dentist, also everyone that I’ve talked to about her says the same thing. DONT DO IT!

I recently visited Dr. Motiu after having my wisdom teeth removed in Southern California. I was in pretty constant pain from the surgery and Dr. Motiu has definitely helped the situation.
She and her staff are extremely welcoming, friendly and professional. They all seem to genuinely care about each and every patient which is a huge change of pace compared to the Dentists I’m used to dealing with at Western Dental in San Marcos, CA.
My entire mouth feels better everyday and I owe it all Dr. Motiu. I would happily recommend her to anyone seeking dental work in the area and will continue to see her as long as I’m living locally!

I don’t see it now but I saw a negative review about Dr. Motiu the other day. I feel sorry for that person because they obviously have the need to speak poorly of people. Sees the glass half full? Or maybe plum empty. This was my first visit to Dr. Motiu after moving to Valley Springs last June. I found her to be extremely pleasant. You can tell when a person is being especially nice to empress you. That’s not what I found her to be. She did a wonderful job. Treated me as I would hope to be treated. I do plan to go back. Made an appointment for another cleaning in September.

I used to live in Tuolumne County when Dr. Motiu worked in the Sonora/​Tuolumne area. When she opened her own practice in San Andreas, I scheduled all of my appointments with her. Now that I live about three hours away, I still travel the distance to see her. She is super friendly and can make anyone feel comfortable. I’m not sure why anyone would give her a 1 star rating for being rude, unless you attacked her I could never see her get angry at anybody. I’ll continue to return to her office, I just hope she doesn’t move farther away!

She’s wonderful and thoughtful. She cares! She gives back to the community. I couldn’t give her enough stars. Best dentist I’ve ever been to.
