This place is fantastic! The garlic fries and breath enhancer burger were so good. They smoke their own bacon — amazing! And their own pulled pork! Put them both on a burger with some chili verde salsa and you have perfection on a bun. Beer selection is good plus a well stocked whiskey bar. Great service, friendly place.

I have heard this place for a long time, but every time I came here before on the weekends were packed. Finally I got chance to came over during the week not too busy hour. I had salad and garlic fires. I love the garlic fries! Second time I had the bacon burger, and it was great, good size of quality patty with good price. I will def come back again and try more!

Oof, this could have been better. So people had been raving about Lucky 13 well before I ever stepped into this place. I felt judged almost immediately stepping in because I don’t have a beard and I didn’t order a drink. Let’s ignore that though and talk about the food. Their garlic fries were pretty good. I’d heard all about how powerful they were and they basically lived up to the hype. I really enjoyed them. The burger was pretty average though. I didn’t understand all the hype. They have a set-list of offerings and I just went with the special(one in which my bartender placed judgment on me for asking for no onions) and it was just okay. Good first few bites but typical pub fare. I ended up spending upwards of $ 17 including tip(Yes I still tipped well) for something that was no better than hitting the In-N-Out. This place might have a soft spot in Salt Lake natives’ hearts, but not mine.

Top notch burgers and fries. I especially like the Bacon Stinky Cheeseburger(bleu cheese). Service very friendly but unobrusive, none of those frequent phony«and is everything tasting good?» stops by our waitress, just easy availability.

This place is where everyone says to get your hamburger in the city. With that said Lucky 13 had some hype to live up to. I decided I would order the Pigpen(house-smoked bacon, grilled black forest ham, caramelized onions, cheddar and swiss cheese, Lucky 13 sauce). Let me say that this was one tasty burger. Messy as hell, but SO good. I opted for regular fries which were seasoned quite well. Along w/a beer my bill w/tip came out to $ 20. Well worth the price. I’ll be back on my next visit to SLC.

I wish I could judge the food or service because my party couldn’t enter. They seem to adhere to a very strict ID policy that doesn’t allow entry for non US issued ID, only passports. Heads up. Not very friendly about it either.

VERY good burgers. A little pricey, but I’d say they’re worth it every now and then. You cannot order normal food on Sundays until after 1:00. It is brunch-only until then(which also looks good, but we went for the burgers). Pretty good service for a bar. Beware, the«garlic burger» and«garlic fries» are very garlicy. Which is great! But you’ll be smelling it for days.

Two words: Ostrich burger. Yes that’s right, they have specials every day and sometimes it involves exotic meat. I’ve never seen an ostrich except on my plate, and boy it was delicious. Not gamey at all. I’ve tried both the rosemary garlic fries and regular fries, and much prefer the regular. The Rosemary garlic fries were a little soggy. I love that you can get peanut butter on your burgers. Delicious. Service is great and relatively quick. Parking is sparse so you’ll have to trek a little bit.

This is the 2nd time I’ve been here. Both times have been amazing experiences! The food is great and the Sunday drink specials are even better! Definitely becoming my favorite place in Salt Lake City!

Love this place! But it sure can get busy. Then again, I usually go after work Friday nights, so it’s typical for a dinner rush to occur. Got cheap steins, I think $ 5.50 if that or even $ 5 just a little bit extra than the pint. I always get their bacon stinky cheese burger which is their burger with spring mix greens, onions, tomatoes, bacon and of course blue cheese. I’ve tried their other burgers which are also good but that one takes the cake for me. They usually serve their burgers over medium I think but I get mine well done. I like to go with the regular fries, any other fries have a little too much seasoning. For $ 1.50 extra you can substitute for onion rings, Cajun or garlic Rosemary fries, or fried pickle spears. I’m not one to be a fan of pickles in the first place but I can honestly say this place has opened my eyes with their fried pickles. So good! Place usually had friendly servers. If you’re looking to not be in such a crowded area, go on week days not during lunch or dinner hours. All in all, great place for cheap beer and burgers!

I’m not from here, I represent Detroit to the fullest. Burgers in Detroit is nothing to be messed with. That’s until I was introduced to Lucky 13. I was definitely floored and dumbfounded by the caliber of the burgers in this joint. It has the whole hipster signs and symptoms, only Utah style. Biker bar meets hippie craft beers, with destruction burgers. Speaking of burgers, make sure you get to know the Breath Enhancer very well. That right there is definitely a food group. My fiancé had the Fungus Amongus. That one is out of this world. Make sure you don’t forget to garnish the dish with rosemary garlic fries. Because if you don’t, might as well not come at all. Life is great, order a craft beer to wash down that damn good burger. Because 4% from a tap just doesn’t cut it my friend. I’d definitely come back and eat here again. That’s party because the food here is just phenomenal. Thanks you Lucky 13. I’ll see you again next time. Follow me on Instagram and snapchat: rodtorres3

Mercy! Uncle uncle! We love this place. I’ve been here a handful of times and it never disappoints! Hubby ALWAYS gets the bleu stinky with garlic herb fries and I always get the fungus amungus. This times I got it with extra crispy fried pickles. I don’t know what is better the fry sauce or the stuff you dip in it. Fun atmosphere too. Of course we will go back!

I loathe bad service — and this place has had the worst service I’ve had in years. The staff was rude… And the waitress the worst! I ordered an entrée that was one of the worst I’ve had, and I sent it back to get something edible. The waitress charged me for both items. That was the cherry on top to the rest of her terrible service. It’s been years since I’ve left a low tip.

Ventured here with my «FoodSnob» crew and loved it. I’ve had the Nut Butter Burger twice and the cheese burger and the fries are always spectacular. I have to be disappointed in the service or food here. Overall great casual atmosphere. We would journey here more often, but alas they don’t allow children. Highly recommend for date night, GNO or BNO.

This is the best burger I have had in UT, and maybe anywhere. I love that there is a different specialty burger each day, which provides lots of variety and options. I aspire to try as many of these as possible, but of those I have tried to date, the Nacho Libre burger is my favorite, but nothing has disappointed!

My husband and I absolutely love lucky 13! When we want to splurge or have company in town it’s our go to place. We always get great service and you definitely get your money’s worth. The staff is very nice and attentive, even if you have a soda and not alcohol.(although they’ve made me some great drinks here!) Recommendations: — Always get the Rosemary Garlic Fries — Follow their FB to see their daily specials — Nutter Butter Burger is better than it sounds, you should try it at least once! — I’m a fan of their celestial burger as well. — Be sure to try their fry sauce that comes with your meal. Dont’s: If you fear spicy, I wouldn’t risk it. I typically have no problem with spicy, but last time I got their bacon wrapped jalepeno poppers and they were wretchedly spicy… I was so worried I wouldn’t have my taste buds back in time for my meal. My friend tried the ring of fire burger and she was literally crying. I’ve talked to the staff and the jalepenos are hit and miss for the spicy-ness. But being a poor college student I was sad I wasted $ 8 on the poppers.

I’m a big fan of Lucky 13. I’ve tried almost all the burgers on the menu and they’ve all been delicious. My least favorite would be the Breath Enhancer or the Ring o’ Fire(it’s really hot!) but my top choices are the Nutterburger(I love peanut butter and it tastes even better on a burger), the Fungus Amongus(mushrooms!), and the Pig Pen(lots of meat). Forewarning, these burgers and fries will fill you. The portions aren’t massive but are definitely enough to make a big-eater like myself completely satisfied. No qualms about the flavor though. The burgers and the fries are just simply delicious. Lucky 13’s fries are one of my favorites. The staff has always been friendly and I’ve always been seated fast. Nothing beats grabbing a burger and a drink especially when it’s nice out and you get a seat outside.(Try to get shade on a hot day) For those who love a classic burger bar, this is my go to place in Salt Lake.

I have wanted to come here for quite a while. It is right across the street from Smith’s Ballpark and whenever I have gone to a ballgame the restaurant was packed. I was finally able to make it in on my 25th birthday and it was amazing! I got the celestial burger, it comes with grilled onions, bacon, bbq sauce and cheddar cheese. The bacon is smoked in house, it was sooo good, and they definitely don’t skimp. Overall, this burger is probably one of the best burgers I have ever had! I got garlic fries and my husband got cajun fries and we shared them both. Both of the fries are loaded with seasoning and super flavorful. I’m not sure if the seasoned fries are worth $ 1.50, I might just get the plain ones next time. Everything was delicious and I cannot wait to go back for more. Parking can be a bit of an issue at times so be aware. Their parking lot is really small and with the ballpark so close the streets can be packed. I went on a Friday night and it took 20 minutes to find a place to park half a mile away. The restaurant was really busy, but they have a large outdoor seating area, so we were able to get a table without much of a wait.

The Bloody Mary is wicked! The horseradish is a great way to spice up this drink. I know that bacon is always great, but I thought the drink could carry itself even without the bacon. My brother-in-law who is a Bloody Mary aficionado downed his drink in 1 minute. We went on a weekday, around 9pm, and it wasn’t too crowded. We sat at the bar and had prompt service from the bartenders. They were really sharp and friendly. Next visit I will check out their burgers.
