What a bunch of sleeze balls. After talking with their rep a few times on the phone we had finally settled on something that I thought I would be interested in. He was pushing me to do a sale but I needed to confirm with my wife before I finalized. It tried to get her on the phone but couldn’t. I told the sales guy that I needed to include her on the decision and that’s when the sleaziness came out.
I get this email a few minutes later saying all of the bonuses he offered me were no longer valid if we waited and the only way they were valid was if I did the deal right now.
This kind of Closing technique was a HUGE turn off. This is a cheap and sleazy high pressure tactic that changed my decision from going with them to going somewhere else. This tactic belongs to guys that sell used cars and not an alarm company.
LO and behold the next morning I see an add on the internet offering the same bonus that they offered me the day before but they claimed would no longer be valid. They even have that same offer on Unilocal ironically enough.
Don’t waste your time if they have to be that hard of closers their product cannot be that good. You don’t have to hard close quality.
