Downeast Basics

I have a love hate relationship with this clothing line, however, the stores are kept fairly clean and even though it is small they try to keep clutter to a minimum. The workers are fairly friendly, but a lot of them have no idea what their own policies even are. A shirt I bought had a huge hole before I even wore it and I called to see if there was another in stock and explained. One lady I talked to put the shirt on hold and said they would do a straight exchange and it was poorly manufactured. I went to take it in later in the day and the girl told me I couldn’t return it because it had a hole and it wasn’t their fault. Luckily she returned it but employees should be aware of really what they can and cannot do. Otherwise great location, nice clean store.
