Carpet Barn

I’ve used the Carpet Barn on two occasions now. Both times, I found the carpet I was looking for at a very good price. I bought a much higher quality carpet than what I was looking for. They sell a lot of factory seconds. I could not identify any issue with the carpet. It looks and feels great. My salesman was Monty. He also installed the carpet.

I called the Carpet Barn and spoke to Ross. I explained to him exactly what I wanted, and that I needed to set up a commercial estimate. He started to question me on my color choice and basically told me without knowing my situation in my office that I wasn’t thinking straight. He continued to inform me that I needed to come in and pick something before he would set up an estimate, which was fine. I went to their facility and asked for Ross. He has got to be the rudest most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. I reluctantly looked at what he had because his prices are great, but that would be the ONLY reason I would have considered using him. He talked to me like I was the dumbest dog on the planet. I think I will pay more just to be treated like a valued customer.

I never imagined I’d be reviewing a carpet remnant place, but I needed to make a custom sized rug for a room, and a friend highly recommended this place, so I thought I’d check it out.
From the minute I walked in, there was just a chill welcoming vibe in the place. No «salesman-​y» pitches like you’d get at other bigger name carpet places. Just a «hey, look around, see if you like anything» which was cool. We took our time and I finally found 2 remnants in separate rooms that I liked that seemed identical. The guy was really cool, and let us carry the rolls from room to room to compare, and helped us know which was the better quality. After I chose a remnant, he rolled it up, and when I mentioned that I wanted to have the edges bound to make it into a rug, he offered to take it to the binding shop for me. Seriously? How cool is that? So in the end, I got a custom sized rug, made from top quality carpet, for about $ 50 cheaper than I would’ve gotten a crappy-​quality similar sized area rug elsewhere. The guys working here were just so helpful, the prices so reasonable, I couldn’t have been happier.
