Sara is an amazing stylist to go to at Bladework. I went to her with the decision to cut off tons of hair. A new short style that I was dying to have. It was scary, but Sara put me at ease and made me look great! She also took my natural hair color (pretty much black) and gave me beautiful natural highlights. She definitely made me feel comfortable and gave me a sexy new look that I love. Thanks Sara!

So, the place is not the fanciest but it has some sick art work. No eucalyptus shampoo rooms or anything like that but that just means you’re not paying and extra $ 10 for some crap that went out of style in 2000. They don’t try and sell you $ 100 bottles of shampoo that work just as well as the $ 20 ones or $ 45 bottles of hair wax that last 2 weeks. They just cut your hair and they do it well.
Shelly is the bomb. I tell her to make me look pretty and she does. I get compliments from all the ladies around town. They be like, I love your hair. Can I touch it? Who gave you that super awesome cut? I be like, duh Shelly Gray don’t you know? Well now you know!

I’ve been getting my hair cut by August for several months now! She’s the best! Looking forward to many more cuts from her! I highly recommend her for any kind of hair need you have! You won’t regret it!

I have been seeing Shelley Gray at Bladework for the last 10 years. I tried other places but always came back to Shelley. I have watched the salon grow and change over the years. I have always, always been so happy with the service. Amazing color and cut. The prices are also very reasonable compared to other places. Its super convenient located right by the U,
Its sad because now I live in Austin and I can only get my hair done when I come back to SLC to visit. If I could, I would transport the whole place to my new home.

I went to Natasha Fett and was so happy with my hair cut. It’s exactly what I asked for. My hair is so thick yet fine that it’s hard to get any body, but now it’s super easy to maintain, I can just wash and go and it looks great. I’ll be back to have her color it soon. Great place, friendly staff and I would highly recommend Natasha to anyone looking for a new stylist.

My first time was great, excellent service, great haircut. Went back a month later, arrived 45 minutes before they were supposed to close, and was told to go find another place to get my haircut. I nicely asked if they could squeeze me in and intended to tip well if they did, but store being empty was told they were closed. Terrible service, DO NOT GO!
