Great donuts. I had the glazed and the cinnamon with apple sauce. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

Classic! Super friendly fun folks here just sling’n old school donuts! I love a classic donut shop. They do a handful of really great recipes and do them well. Small shop, clean and cozy. Fast service and fresh good always ready to go at very good prices. They’ll mix and match how ever you like. Just GO. Plus there’s some hottie dudes who work there sometimes!

Worst experience I’ve had at a donut place. Service was extremely slow. The person taking my order acted like I ruined his day by showing up. Crappy service and average donuts for a high price.

Pretty small location and easy to miss real quick if your not paying attention. Really good donuts at a great price. They have quite a few employees to help you order. Had a regular chocolate donut and chocolate cake donut. I would say the cake donut was my favorite so far.

Donuts were decent at best. Service was rude and unprofessional. The quality is not worth the hype. We just recently moved from Scottsdale to SLC and went based on past reviews as we like to support locally owned. Doubt we will be back. Beyond glaze in Sugarhouse was a much better experience.

These are great homestyle donuts. I’m not a huge donut fan… but bae is and therefore we make it to a donut shop a few times a year ;). This is definitely the best donut shop in SLC. And I have to say, I do love the glaze and the chocolate best. They are far better than KK or DD could ever imagine being.

Masters of the donut craft. No need for flashiness or gimmicks, these folks make excellent donuts fried in fresh oil. One of my favorite treats on a weekend morning is to come here for a coffee with cream and a plain cake donut to dip it in. Make sure to ask which donuts most recently hit the shelves for an extra fresh and warm one!

Best donuts I have ever eaten and Coca-Cola products. BEST. DONUTS. EVER! I highly recommend the cinnamon crunch, and the glazed are like eating sugar-coated air. The chocolate icing is darker than most, and not too sweet. yummy!

A great variety of delicious donuts. I think my favorites are the maple bar(light and fluffy with the right amount of glaze) and the cinnamon donut(there is a serious amount of cinnamon packed on). Follow your heart and choose whichever one is calling your name. They make holiday ones around Christmas(and maybe other times of the year too?). Good location, hours, prices, and taste!

This is a great place. They run out early, so make sure you get there early too. The staff is friendly and helpful. They also put together a very good sampling if you ask for a dozen assorted.

Unfortunately despite hearing good things about Banbury I just wasn’t crazy impressed. It was kind of a mess in there, and the kids working at the front could work on customer service; slightly grumpy, like it was an inconvenience that I showed up. As for the donut, well it tasted like any other fried donut I’ve had.

These donuts are so delicious that I just begged my husband to stop by and grab a whole box full of whatever they have left on his way home from work. Our favorites are the cinnamon crumble and the apple fritter but even a plain glazed is the best in Salt Lake City. They also have milk that is always ice cold, a very nice accompaniment to the perfect donuts.

Banbury is the talk of the town! Award winning donuts they say, and having nom nom’ed my way through a few donut shops in the SLC area, I give my nod of approval to Banbury. They have a lot of what you can find in regular donut shops(glazed, chocolate, sprinkles, etc.) but they DO have some specialized donuts that run out ALL the time — that is unless you are at their door when they open in the early morning of course. Alas Unilocalers, I have yet to sink my chompers into their elusive sell-out donuts, but one day!.. if I can get my behind out of bed early enough to make it. On that note — I do recall chomping on ONE elusive sell-out donut. Named the«Butterfly Donut» which is a regular glazed donut with cinnamon mixed into the center. DELICIOUS. Grab a few and eat one while thinking of my review, will ya?

Let me start this off by saying I have never really liked donuts. I’ve never been the type of person to go out of my way to eat a donut or buy a donut because they never cross my mind. Unless of course they’re Banbury. I literally drive 20 minutes to get these damn donuts and it is so worth it because they’re big and chewy and sweet and delicious no donut compares especially when I have a craving. I like simple foods and you won’t find those weird gourmet fancy 20 flavor artistic treats here just your basic glazed and cake or chocolate or strawberry(my favorite!) etc. They also have a few things besides donuts but my heart is drawn to that strawberry glaze oh man I’m eating one as I type this I feel like Homer Simpson. Just go here they’re the best! Consistent quality and inexpensive yummmmm donuts

I love this place. I go out of my way to get a donut here. They have your garden variety, basic selection of donuts that blast most donuts out of the rankings. But my biggest complaint and annoyance is the absolutely terrible drive-up service. I totally appreciate the drive-thru but I anticipate, and dread, the reality that I’ll likely sit there for several minutes watching bakers making donuts and ignoring the fact that I’m sitting in my car waiting to place an order. All I want is a single donut! Then someone eventually walks by to help me, seemingly annoyed to help me. Please, please, please, awesome little donut shop, please make the drive-thru experience more pleasant!

Delicious donuts! Every single one. I love anything with the chocolate frosting, especially their cake-like donuts. I’ve never actually been to the store or bought anything there, but my co-workers regularly bring a dozen in and the whole office goes wild with delight. They have a cinnamon type one has these cinnamon crumbles all over and it’s really delicious. A great stop if you’re in the area!

Mmm… Donuts! I’ve only been able to try their apple fritters and chocolate bars, but they were both delicious. The dough is always light and fluffy with just the right amount of glaze or chocolate. I wish they continuously baked throughout the day because they’re always out of a lot of varieties. I suppose I’ll just have to try and make it there earlier in the day!

Hands down some of the best doughnuts I’ve had for $ 1 or less. They have a decent variety of flavors, keeping it simple, nothing too crazy like VooDoo(Oregon/Pacific Northwest) or artistic like Dough(NYC/Brooklyn). The cinnamon sugar was by far my favorite followed by chocolate cake. All for 99 cents each. Grab a dozen for less than $ 10. Definitely worth dropping in!

Had to write this for my hubby! His #1 donut place of all time!!! I think they are pretty dang good too! They aren’t greasy they are little and fluffy. They are always fresh because they sell them so fast. His favorite… Maple. says… the flavor is perfect and the crinkle. I love anything with fruit! Get there early so they won’t sell out!

Magic. The object of nearly every kid’s fascination and every adult’s wistful nostalgia. As kids, we believe the rabbit was in the hat and the coin was in our ear. We believe she really was sawed completely in half and through the magician’s wink and well-trained wave of the wand, all was healed and whole and well again. Over time and without really noticing, we lose our sense of wonder and belief in magic. The years march on, and without realizing it, one day we find ourselves checking up the magician’s sleeves with a dubious stare, and we’re simply examining a performance looking for the logical explanation. The plausible. We stop believing in pure magic and we start believing instead, in tricks. Yet there are times, when we still want to believe. When we wish we could. We catch ourselves, usually when we least expect it, we catch ourselves captivated in the tiniest moments of belief. We’re transported back in time, and we’re that kid again, the one at the birthday party, who believes the dove really has materialized from nothing more than a magician’s sheer will. Well, I’m here to tell you that magic does exist; magic in its purest form. Transformative magic. The kind that just is. The kind that has no false floor, no marked cards, and no planted audience members. Pure, raw magic. And that magic, is donuts. Donuts change lives. They change people. They change me. And I believe that’s magic. Let me set the stage and perhaps illustrate this point with a story: You’ve had a long day. Not a particularly bad day, but a full day. A day when you get things done slowly, and when the normally jittery second hand on your wristwatch seems to have become as lazy as a dog on a hot afternoon. Surely you know the kind of day I’m talking about? At the end of that day, you find a Banbury Cross donut, by some miracle, it’s still in the box you bought that morning. You’ve devoured its companions, but there it is. Pick your favorite – the sprinkled, the old-fashioned, the chocolate – there it is in the box. You look down and see that donut and your fingertips start to tingle, just a little. You life the donut to your lips, holding it just below your nose and smell the unmistakable scent of yeasted dough slathered with glaze or frosting, and that uniquely pungent but welcome smell rising from the lightest sheen of fry oil that only comes from a well-crafted donut. Your lips separate, you’re salivating, and then you bite into that donut and your day completely disappears behind you. Somewhere, Houdini is smiling. THIS is the magic of donuts. That a small, fried pastry enjoyed at the end of the day(or the beginning, or the middle) can brighten your life. It takes you to a happy place; a forest, a meadow, a tropical island with sand and beaches. Be it only be a few degrees, but that donut changes your demeanor after only a few short minutes of truly falling into the still-soft texture and intoxicatingly beautiful flavors. You’re under the donut spell and everything is just a little bit better. Tell me that’s not magic! Tell me that’s not special! Don’t ask me to explain it, but don’t tell me that you don’t believe. Some days, it’s just a nice pick-me-up. But some days, when you really believe in that magic(or that magic really believes in you), a donut might just be that little bit of end-of-day magic you need to realize that the day hasn’t really sawed you in half at all. And all is healed and whole and well again.
