Cheap cool place to grab breakfast! It’s located right in the lobby and the breakfast is made fresh and it’s a good price. There is 2 hour parking right out front so park there if you can instead of paying $ 6 in the lot. Burrito is great and the bacon is delicious coated in pepper!

It is very simple. Came for breakfast based on the reviews. I had the breakfast burrito and it was fine. My husband had a breakfast sandwich and he was disappointed because it had powdered sugar all over everything. I ordered a Café au lait, which i finally had to go remind them to make and then I got black coffee with a shot of espresso that was like mud. When I told them it wasn’t café au lait, they argued with me. I had already waited so long I just dumped a bunch out and poured in a ton of cream. Don’t expect anything above average, but it is cheap, so that is a plus.

This is pretty much like the typical eatery you’ll find at an airport. The breakfast is well made, but it looks too impeccable on your plate. In other words, it’s highly manufactured and very vanilla. It was almost like cafeteria food for grown ups that cost more than $ 3 per plate(back in the day that’s how much my food cost at school so I have no idea what it is now). French toast, Croissant sandwiches, pancakes, your style of eggs and meat(patty, link, ham). You know, the simple stuff. The service was great, but I don’t think the food was meant to make you cringe with delight. It was typical, and that’s it.

I had breakfast here on a Sunday morning, downtown is very quiet during this time. There’s really nothing to complain about here. The service was friendly and fast, the food was very good, coffee was great, it’s very clean and well decorated. I order the loaded breakfast burrito for six dollars and it was filling, delicious, and it looked good when they served it. It’s like some other reviewer said, a little bit difficult to find. But they have a little sign on the sidewalk outside once you walk in it’s very easy to see where to go. I highly recommend it it’s worth a few minute walk if you’re staying at one of the convention hotels nearby.

I’ll start with the place is a little difficult to find. It’s located inside the Broadway media building. If you’re looking for a storefront that looks like a typical breakfast café you’ll have a hard time finding the front door. But don’t let that stop you. My first experience with 50 W. was when I decided to get out of the hotel and find someplace local to eat. The reviews for 50 West were exceptional so I thought I’d try 50 W. I could not find the front door so I called and the young lady that answered the phone said are you the one outside with often, come inside. That is where the best breakfast I’ve ever had started. Excellent food at a reasonable price with fantastic people preparing and delivering the food to you. After browsing the reviews in greater detail I saw that they had excellent pancakes noted in Several reviews. So I ordered a short stack with a side of bacon and Sunnyside eggs and experience again was exceptional. They were the best pancakes I have ever consumed. No need for butter but the honey butter is actually best honey butter I’ve ever tasted also. And don’t get me started about the bacon. Why on earth have I been eating all the other types of bacon when I could’ve been eating for 50 W. bacon that they serve deep cut nicely spiced and seasoned and perfectly and freshly cooked right off the grill. Locals know of this place but if you’re traveling in the area leave your hotel and treat yourself to some morning glory at 50 W. You’ll receive food that is three times as good for half the price.

I tried this place for the first time today and understand the other reviews on here, it was quick, the ladies at the counter were nice, I got the Loaded Burrito, It is awesome and the salsa that comes with it makes it that much better, its super fresh and made very well, and for 6 bucks its way better than any other breakfast burrito ive found around downtown or anywhere in slc for that matter. I also ordered a caramel macchiato, the lady told me she honestly didnt know how to make it yet, so she made me a broadway brulee instead and I was not dissapointed, it was incredible, she also told me it was her favorite to make so that set the bar high and it exceeded it, I got a delicious burrito and coffee for around 10 bucks, I wont go every day but I will be back many times in the future

Good place to get some breakfast. You walk in and order at front of restaurant and then you seat yourself. We had the croissant and bagel breakfast sandwiches with the potatoes. The food and prices are good.

Would recommend this breakfast to anyone coming to Salt Lake City. Pancakes are amazing… no syrup needed. Took care of my kids who loved it as well. Service was equally as good! Thank you 50 West Café. It’s in the bottom of Broadway Media building. Everything was amazing.

Walked 20 min to eat here based on just Unilocal reviews. This place is a club at night, and upon entering it looked pretty commercial with a very small menu. Order at the front counter then sit and they bring you your food. I have to say the food and coffee was well worth the walk. My husband and I both got different breakfast burritos with the potatoes on the side and they delicious! Each of got a different homemade salsa on the side and when this really nice server walked by her overheard us talking about the salsas, and asked if we’d like to try some of the spicier ones. We of course said Yes! We tried another salsa just as delicious and then a chili oil paste which was delicious. And the coffee drinks… YUM! I am a picky coffee drink person. My husband got the Coco Moco(coconut mocha) and I asked for a coconut version with no mocha. Can I just saw, it is literally the best coffee drink ever. Can’t wait to come back here. Prices were great for the quality.

After reading some of the reviews on Unilocal,I decided to give it a try for breakfast and was not disappointed. For $ 8 I got 4 pieces of French toast, 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon and hash browns. Great value and the food was AMAZING! Check this place out.

I am only sorry that I didn’t find this place earlier! In town on conference and staying at the Hilton. This was super close so we went for breakfast. I had the Nutella latte and it was so amazing. Very sweet but delicious and they were more than willing to do mine with skim milk. My friend ordered one and he even came out after the fact and asked what type of milk she wanted because she didn’t specify. I ordered the croissant sandwich with ham and both my friends got the breakfast burritos. My sandwich was amazing. I think there was an entire omelette on that thing! The croissant was fresh and delicious as well. I got with cheddar but was asked between that and Swiss. The breakfast potatoes were probably the best I’ve ever had. They were crisp and not soggy and sautéed with onions and peppers. Such good flavor! Not only was this food amazing, the service was above and beyond what you’d expect from a café like this. They came around and checked on us, refilled our waters and removed our plates when we were done eating. When we expressed that we wished we had found it sooner we were asked when we were leaving and offered comedy show tickets for the show being held here tonight! So amazing! We are excited about spending our final night at a show here and most likely breakfast here again tomorrow morning! Definitely stop by!

So good. It’s a modern looking place and the prices are good for what you get. Expect to pay around $ 8-$ 10 per meal, but it’s worth it. I had the marinaded steak meal for $ 9. It came with French fries, squash, toast, and about a 6 oz piece of steak(it might have been bigger). The steak had the perfect amount of marinade. I’m going here again for sure

This place has good food for a decent price. They serve breakfast until 3pm. First time I ordered the biscuits and gravy which came with fried potatoes. I’ll be a return customer.

One word. SALAD. I’m usually not huge on salads but the salads here are huge. Personal favorites are the Chipotle BBQ Chicken and the Southern Fried Chicken. Salads come with toast which is nice if you’re not trying to cut carbs. Breakfast is served all day looks good though I haven’t tried it yet.

Great food, great prices! I work in the building, and when they opened, we all got a flier without prices. Automatically I assumed that meant we were going to be paying a lot. To my surprise, I went the first week and it was pretty cheap. Actually, that week they were offering a discount to people in the building, but ended up giving me a flat iron steak meal for free! I’ve also had their sweet potato fries, tortilla soup, and the omlette. All the things I’ve had were great. The vibe is fresh and hip. The staff is nice and polite. They even will deliver in the building(unsure if they deliver around town or not)

50 West Café opened last week for lunch service. Being a downtown worker bee, I’m always looking out for new places to eat for lunch. 50 West Café is the same kitchen for the new Wiseguys comedy club. We went the first week, so they were still working some things out. But the menu is a good concept. First, you choose your meat, then whether you want it in a sandwich, salad, or on its own. Then, I think you can do some other magical things I can’t really remember. I had the chicken club, and it was very tasty and well-cooked. Fries were well-seasoned, but underdone. One of my buddies had the steak and it was a good portion, but his medium rare came out closer to rare/blue. So, some quirks with the kitchen, which I think will be worked out with time. Always a great thing to have more downtown options. At $ 12 for an entrée, fries, and soda, I don’t think I will make it a regular lunch spot, but will definitely swing by from time to time.
