Steak Salisbury

Let just say I absolutely had the best steak ever here. I kid you not. Portion is out done by no one in Salisbury or any other place I’ve been elsewhere. Even better is the steak was cooked to perfection absolutely flavorful as a stand alone. I had no choice but to review this place. And best of all the price just about matches any other place for a similar dish.
THIS PLACE IS EXCELLENT PRICE, PORTION, AND TASTE! A DEFINITE 5 STARS!!!

We were staying in town for a softball tournament at a hotel right next to this place. At first we were reluctant to try it because it looked a little fancy, but we stayed outside at the Lagoon Bar area. Upon arrival the bartender got my daughter a real high chair, not just one of those wooden seats and our drinks almost immediately. Shortly after we were seated the chef came out and talked with us and our daughter as did a few of the waitresses. Very welcoming place. When our dinner came out the chef also sent out a complimentary dinner for my daughter — an elaborate plate of cut up fruit and yogurt — way too much for a 10 month old, but displayed nicely and definitely was not expected! My husband and I also both enjoyed our meals. We decided to even come back for a second night on Saturday. The chef again came by and talked with us and this night she sent out a plate of chicken, broccoli, and carrots. Again, displayed nicely and she took the time to cute the chicken into tiny pieces. My husband and I ordered meals that were PHENOMENAL! I can’t believe I even finished my whole meal they gave me so much food. I have never once taken the time to call a manager over to applaud their restaurant and their workers, but I just had to this time. The chef here alone is reason enough to visit this restaurant. I wish it wasn’t so far from home so I could go more often. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone. They were so welcoming and accommodating and made eating out with our little one so much nicer.

Stopped in from out of town on a Saturday night. Our party of seven was immediately seated. Service was outstanding and the food was excellent.
Definitely will be returning!

Steak pretty decent. Weirdly they served instant mashed potatoes. Service good and people nice just cant figure out why they went instant

IMPORTANT NOTE — I had written a clever review of this restaurant, but that was before things got WAY out of hand. I am including that review below, but please read this first!
AVOID THIS RESTAURANT! The owners of this restaurant show no respect for their customers or their servers. As you can see from below, this restaurant has major problems. What isn’t even listed here is:
1. one of our families got 1 out of 4 dinners they ordered. The one they did get was a piece of raw tilapia. I don’t think there was one family that got a complete and correct meal delivered.
2. the owner was present for all of the problems, but ran back into the kitchen and made his servers deal with the results of his poor management and kitchen’s inability to execute their limited group menu.
3. the owner’s wife was a character out of Gordon Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmare. She came out and insulted one parent, accused my wife of reeking of alcohol when the only drink she and I ordered in the over 2−½ hours we were there was water. She had the audacity to call the police when not one family refused to pay what was asked and everyone tipped the poor waitresses. When the police came to the hotel they listened to the story, had no idea why they were there and left.
This was the WORST restaurant experience we have ever had.

If I could I would give this restaurant 0 stars!
We came here with my daughter’s softball team and what a strike out!
We called to make a 7pm reservation for 34 people and were told the earliest they could do is 8pm. Okay, it was fairly short notice, so no complaint there. But that’s where the okays stop.
We got to the restaurant and after seated were given a «Group Menu» with a 20% gratuity that we were never informed of. Strike one!
We ordered off this «kitchen friendly» group menu and didn’t even get our salads until an hour later. Seems to me that if you are offering a limited menu that comes with salads and have a few hours notice that at least that part should be ready to deliver. Strike two!
Fifteen minutes later a couple of appetizers came out, followed immediately by a couple of the entrees — not all of the appetizers mind you. Strike three!
When I finally got my entrée the mashed potatoes were ice cold, the steak was cold and tough. Someone else at the table got the tilapia piccata that was raw in the middle and a few minutes later her husband got their appetizer. Can there be a strike four?
The meals came out one by one, totally haphazardly and the servers had no clue who got what, what was served or not and what was left to serve.
The management was totally nonexistent.
This restaurant is a definite error!
