This mall has been deserted. The only thing worth going for is Bath & Body works. I can’t for the life of me figure out why they haven’t moved. There is also a Payless Shoes and a GNC(which is also on the other end of town so this one seems pointless). Other than that there’s random things in and out but most of the spaces stay empty. In fact, me and a friend now use it as our indoor track. We go on evenings to get our daily steps in. You might see a handful of people come in the entire hour we are there. But I hope they don’t shut it down, I love my new free gym lol.

This mall is so dead that majority of the stores are vacant and the fountain at the front of the mall entrance smells like rotten eggs. First time here and last!

Wow. I have driven by many times and assumed the mall was closed. When I walked in, I thought I had stepped back in time, not that I expected much. The only«big-name»(ha!) stores are GNC, Payless and Bath&Body works. I had gone in, really just for giggles, but also to kill some time and maybe have lunch, but there didn’t seem to be any restaurants, really. There was one(no idea), but the smell of burned hair from the nearby salon put me off to that. I counted about 20 people in the mall including employees. I can’t even recommend this as a place to mall-walk because it’s so small that it can be covered in 5 minutes… However there is a fountain outside at the mall entrance. This is probably the most exciting thing at the mall(and it’s not really).

This mall is slowly dying. Only the bookstore and a few restaurants are left open. Looks like something from a zombie movie really…

The Salisbury Mall has seen better days. I remember when my grandmother would take me here and it was a busy, bustling mall. Belk, JC Penney, all the major mall stores were here and it was doing well. Now, they’ve got a couple stores and the rest is just depressing. For a few years now, I’ve thought that the entire mall should be razed… yes, razed. In its place a shopping village type place should be built, maybe even an outlet center, like a Tanger. The location is perfect, especially with Hwy 70 being widened all the way to Statesville now. It would help Salisbury grow, bring jobs and spur the economy. If some retail developer would take a chance on this location, I really think the rewards would be more than worth it.

Probably the worst excuse for a mall I’ve ever seen. For years now, this«mall»(and that term should be used very loosely) has been a pathetic disgrace. There it sits in a fairly decent location, but probably 80% empty of stores, and what is hanging on there isn’t worth shopping in. If not for the fantastic pizza at Napoli’s, I’d never set foot in that place. There have been no efforts to draw any decent stores to this mall, and it’s a wonder the place hasn’t been shut down entirely. The large former Goody’s still sits empty and unused. Big Lots is a nasty dump of a place for those just barely able to afford more than shopping in a dumpster somewhere. The JCPenny is ridiculously tiny, the Belks is a waste of space, and there really is ZERO reason for anyone to visit or shop in the Salisbury Mall unless they’re in absolute dire need of a gift and are in emergency mode… and even then it would be a stretch.

This is the mall you come to when you have nothing better to do on this side of town, or if you need something from a specific store. The tile flooring and walls are cracked and broken, with some repaired using duct tape. There are 2 stores with entrances outside the mall but not inside the mall.(Dollar tree and Big lots) The inside of the mall has roughly 15 vacant storefronts with about 21 open. There is a steakhouse at the front of the mall and since Chic-fil-a closed, you can get food at Napolis(Italian style food), a down home cooking place(never ate there. Not big on the whole greens and pintos style), and lastly Peking Chinese food. The bathrooms don’t have baby changers also. There are only a couple of kiosks in the mall. One for cell phone clips and cases and one for accessories like sunglasses. At Christmas time you get another couple of kiosks for holiday stuff.
