Romo’s Pizzeria & Restaurant

Ok so this place has finally shut the doors for good.
I truly hope that another restaurant opens in the same location because I like to support local businesses !!

Ooooo a new Italian place. With open minds we go. Fairly busy for a Friday night. First impression is the hostess. Chewing her gum she looks through us and asked how many. 2… Right this way. Blows a bubble then looks around for open table as she tries to walk between us to table. Awkward. Like we weren’t even there. Then she stops and looks around for a table again. Blows a bubble and walks us to a table area. Which we waited to be cleared and cleaned. Ok. So we sit and order. The waiter had 2 plastic Orange Mexican hats on the sides of his head. No clue what that was about in an Italian place. Food came. Hubby ordered chicken with wine sauce but his came with red sauce. We asked if it was right and the girl shrugged her shoulders and shook her head. That’s what they gave me she said. So we flagged down our waiter and he said he didn’t know. Looking at the plate like he had never heard of it before. So we ate. It was ok. Just ok. Not bad. I’d eat it again I ordered eggplant. Hubby says he wouldn’t though. The portions were huge. 2 Caesar salad. Calamari, cheese garlic bread, 2 dinners 2 teas and a desert came to $ 47. So the prices are ok too. But the entire time we were there. The waitress continued to chew her gum and blow bubbles. Seriously? The dinner crowd had lots of families with kids. Not high class by any means, but bubble gum chewing hostess? We aren’t going back.
Oh yeah. The Caesar salad has homemade croutons. Made from the same garlic bread we had ordered. A stale version I guess. They were huge, deep fried and still hot. and 100% gross on a fresh cold salad.

Wonderful little pizza place. The pizza was awesome. Next time I will try something else from the menu. Sauce on pizza was sweet and tasty so I imagine the pasta will be great as well. Nice friendly staff and quick service. I will be back with others.

Terrible! Service was slow, food was bad and the owner is rude! We decided to try it since its new and we love supporting local businesses but we regretted it as soon as the food started arriving. We sent an order back to the kitchen bc it didn’t taste good and the owner proceeded to come the table to tell us he tasted the dish in the back and there wasn’t anything wrong with it but he would take it off the bill. We will not be back! Do yourself the favor of not wasting the money. If you want a great pizza go to the Salty Caper if you want great Italian go to il coloseo.

Great food with a feeling like your at a friends house. I will return very soon and I will bring friends. Wish there hours were later.

First time here just a little while ago today. I thought it was really good, we all enjoyed it. I got a slice with ham, pepperoni and onions. Only thing I would of changed is the ability to get shite sauce on a slice. I asked but our waitress said red sauce only on slices. Other than that pizza was delicious. Im sure I will pay for it later but that is because red sauce simply does not like me! :(
I started my meal with my newest obsession the wedge salad and this was one of the best ones I’ve had anywhere. It had pieces of real sliced bacon still warm that I would swear was some of the best bacon Ive ever had! Whole meal was fantastic with no problems.
On our way out i think one of the owners maybe asked us if we had tried something called a zeppelin and gave us all one and they were quite yummy and a great finish to a great lunch! Will be back!

This place is amazing! The prices are the best around including beer pricing. Did I mention the delicious pizza! This is a must try!
