Once again the handy dandy Unilocal app saved me when searching for a place to eat while on a road trip to the beach. Searched for nearby restaurants and this popped up. After exiting 85 and busting a u-turn, we found it tucked away In a small shopping strip. Skeptical we walked in and I thought …“eeeek, no one is in here” restaurant empty, the only waitress greeted us and allowed us to pick a spot to sit. We peeked at the Buffet choices and it looked good so we chose wisely. It turned out to be GOOD! Rice noodles, simple sushi rolls that were fresh, soup and pad Thai… the list goes on. Buffet is 9.99 a person. Thank you to the little waitress… she was so sweet. Two different locals walked in and she greeted them by name so that made me feel better. :-). Give it a try… you will be pleasantly surprised!

This place was formerly known as Bangkok Gardens, opened now by new owners as Lai Thai. We ordered a few rolls and were brought some fresh soup to eat as our rolls were prepared. The rolls were realy good, this chef knows what he’s doing. The sushi chef used to work at eeZ and told us he was looking into expanding the menu. This place is off to a good start and we cant wait to see what’s to come. We will go back and post some pictures next time.
