Cashier at drive through is very friendly. Biscuit was hot. I liked the cinnamon raisin biscuit.

Some time ago lets say I guess around 40 yrs give or take a few my Family was living in Jacksonville Florida(very shortly after this we moved to St Augustine) My Dad being in the restaurant biz himself was like a kid on Christmas morning his eyes would widen and you would see a twinkle in his eye when he found something different in the food world it was his passion and he passed that down to me as a child. Food had such a influence in our family not only because, of the restaurant but, of what my Dad did with the restaurant. Daily he would hire people that where out of work(not like wino’s or people down and out that you see begging for food on the side of the street and when you give them food they throw it away because, they want cash for their habit!) These people had just had some bad luck or that construction worker that was waiting on the next job or railroad people remember this was 1969 he would hire them and pay them daily cash which was a great help to them. Some stayed for a day a week a month and a few stayed years. They worked hard cleaning fish all types of seafood that was the catch of the day I mean the real catch of the day. He got several awards from the city for helping the community he had so many he took some home and packed them away! People would come from everywhere to eat fresh seafood. So let us back track 40 yrs i guess about 8 am on a Saturday morning my twinkled eyed dad says” lets go to the store . I get it the car and we drove to Hardees they had this, this thing a biscuit? what at a burger joint OMG and that started it all now everypalce has every kind of biscuit you can name. And Why am I writting this? Once in a while you break or you do not have that corp card with that expense account or your a veggy. Anyway this place had great service and pretty good food for what it is it reminded me of those days…
