Went to the Polar Express at the Transportation Museum and stopped in for dinner. The restaurant was very accommodating for the three kids and the complimentary donuts were an added bonus.

Great sushi and Thai food. Pad Thai and pad seewe is awesome. Live the Tomis soup. They make tofu delicious! We choose that though we are omnivores! Owner is great and is very personable.

Ive been here several times, and will continue to return. The food is always good, as is the service. Prices are very fair. I must admit that I enjoy the atmosphere as well. Its a winner.

This is currently our go to sushi restaurant since Lexington, NC doesn’t have any options. It excels at making food, but struggles with service.

I have been coming here off and on for almost a year. They have served consistently good Thai food. The real surprise is the quality of their sushi. When I go out to lunch in Salisbury, I come here 70% of the time because it’s worthy.

I love coming to this spot because they have such inventive rolls, and even though I don’t think it’s QUITE as tasty as it’s sister restaurant, Sabaidee, it’s still quite yummy. We had the Bangkok Downtown rolls this time(their equivalent of ‘everything but the kitchen sink’), which were amazing, as well as the spicy tuna, also good. The Edamame, however, was super disappointing, would not recommend. Edamame aside, I still come back whenever I’m visiting, it’s one of my favorite dinner spots in downtown Salisbury.

If you are looking for fast food, and personalized service, this is definitely not the place to go. They are supposed to open at 11:00 for lunch, but we have been there at 11:30 on a few occasions and found no one to seat us. After rounding up the hostess/waiter from the kitchen we were seated without menus. 15 minutes later they took our order, but it was another 20 – 25 minutes until we were served. I seem to remember that they once had a sushi chef. I don’t know what happened, but the owner is now the sushi chef and, while that may be okay, she is not always there so the sushi is often made by one of the waitstaff which causes it to be inconsistent and the last few times we were there, it was really quiet unsatisfactory. We have tried their Thai dishes and they are okay, their soups are fine, as well, but the quality is just not up to par, and the dishes never seem to be made the same way twice.

My mom and I eat here every 2 months or so when we are in town and always get the sushi and fresh spring rolls. I was a little hesitant to try sushi in a predominately Thai restaurant in Salisbury, but I am so glad I did! WOW, the portions of fresh, delicious fish are amazing. We tend to order the specialty rolls but I am sure the nigri and sashimi are just as great. Our current favorite is the Honda roll. Their fresh spring rolls are the best I’ve ever had and I could easily make a meal out of them alone. I knocked off one star because of the lack of variety in the specialty rolls. Most everything is either spicy or cream cheese. I just request slight modifications and I am able to get around this, so it’s not a huge deal.

Good food at reasonable prices. Friendly staff who immediately offered my 21-month old daughter a child’s cup of water. Portions were smaller than the restaurants in my last town but the taste was excellent. Luckily had room for dessert. Wife, daughter and I had the ice cream with fried banana coins and the sticky rice with mango. Outstanding! Those portions were great and the taste even better.

I’ve had both the Pad Thai and sushi(many kinds) and it was all delicious. They have quite the variety of sushi and I was impressed with the presentation. Everything tasted fresh and yummy. Egg drop soup is served as an appetizer every time — not always what I’m in the mood for, but a nice touch.

Hidden gem in downtown Salisbury, sushi is fresh and the cuts are good size. Great selection of Thai entries as well. Hit on a day trip and was so good, game back next day!

Roach Larvae Negative star… For the price, the ingredients used are definitely not up to par. Ive had Thai food literally around the world including Thailand and various countries in Asai. I will say the sushi is decent… for a small town… I made a vow two years ago no to return to Bangkok thai. because I was charged twice for my meal. After going back and forth with my bank and the owner the issue was finally resolved… I went back for lunch one day this past week with a friend. While eating there version of Phở. which is a Vietnamese dish. I found ROACHLARVAE in my soup I understand that bugs are served in Asia but no America… the owner acknowledged the problem and issued a $ 25.00 gift card to come back um no thanks… I’ve posted this several times and for some odd reason it disappears from the reviews

Wait staff was impersonal. The imitation crab in the sushi was a complete turn off. This place is to costly for this kind of thing. I will not be back

My roommate and i went in after wanting to go there for months. She ordered the seasomy chicken and tje waitress asked if we have ever had thai compared to Chinese seasomy chicken. Which was helpful. I ordered the pad woon sen. And we got an order of crab ragoons. A bit pricy but SO worth it. Service and food were amazing. The waitress was friggen adorable.

Delicious! Ordered the garlic and black pepper steak and it was fresh and delightfully seasoned. Also had the fried spring rolls that we enjoyed as wonderful appetizers. Service was friendly and fast. This is my second visit here and it topped my first so I will most assuredly come back.

This place is Gorgeous! Beautiful Entryway — Fantastic Bar Room — Splendid Dinning Room! I ordered Pad Kee Mow with Beef, I asked questions about the Pad Thai«Is it Sweet?»(I prefer the version that is NOT«Americanized Sweet») — Is it Orange?(the more Authentic Version is a Tan or Light Brown Color). She said it was the version that I do not like so I ordered Pad Kee Mow with no broccoli and no egg. The flavor seasoning for the wide Noodles was very good, the vegetables were a little poor, maybe over cooked and chopped too big for my preference. The Beef was a poor cut of Beef that many places use — Beef needs to be tender or at least cut into much smaller pieces so it offers the illusion of being tender! Egg Drop Soup, topped with Cilantro, nice touch, good flavor — included with Lunch! The Spring Roll was good as in A-OK(2.89 Unilocal stars) almost not worth the calories — Still better than Almost all Egg Rolls, this spring roll was weak — So what! For lunch it is included and I am not factoring it in the rating! I would return to this restaurant if I lived in the area and I would order the same dish only with Chicken instead of beef — Also I would check out the Red or Green Curry!
