We live in a neighborhood near this Ace, and go in often for help on house projects. The employees at Ace are some of the most helpful people I have ever met. I have never had a bad experience, they are always friendly, helpful and readily available. It has helped for so many of our DIY projects!

I had been a regular customer of this store for as long as it’s been open. John, Emily, Gus, Ryan and lets not forget Lauren who sadly, works elsewhere now and the other employees are as helpful as they can be, save one!
I gave only three stars because of an employee named David. Over many months and many visits I finally figured out David flat didn’t like me. Unlike my experience with all of the other employees David was expertly passive aggressive towards me… it took awhile for things to get through my thick skull. At first I thought he was just not talented as a sales person. Over time (many visits over many months) I realized that talent or no talent his negative demeanor was very much directed at me. I avoided him when I could however in the end I stopped patronizing this store entirely… David issues.
I mentioned this to my wife who noticed I was not frequenting the South Main Ace anymore. She said I was silly and David got what he wanted. So there it is!

Love coming here when I need to grab stuff for last minute projects. The selection is decent. There has only been one occasion where they didn’t have what I needed in stock. The reason i give this store five stars is because the staff are all SUPER friendly!
I came in the other week to get a specific oil to lube my typewriter and the guy working was not only helpful in finding me what I needed, he actually looked up a youtube instructional video on which oil to use so that it wouldn’t gunk up in the machine. He spent a good 30 minutes helping me pick out everything I needed.
Another time I came in and the two things I needed seemed a little overpriced. I checked online for prices at other stores. The guy working price matched all the items for me so I didn’t have to drive to Home Depot.
These are just a couple examples of the great customer service. I love coming here and can’t speak highly enough of the friendly service! More businesses should take note.

I have been to this store 3 times now in less than 2 weeks.
They have had everything I needed so that is excellent but finding help sometimes can be difficult and it’s hit and miss with the cashiers personality depends on who you get at the time.
I’m sure i will be back…
