Our preschool took a field trip here and it was one of the best trips of the year (and we take field trips about once a month!) The staff was very nice and split the class into two groups so the kids could enjoy in small groups. The guides were friendly and worked with the kids in an age appropriate manner. They seemed to care a great deal for all the animals. This is a great little educational spot for home school groups and school field trips.
My only suggestion would be a clear sign at the bottom of the main road. I passed up the turn as did many other families.
