Service could be a bit better but I really like their burgers when I crave them. I also order their burritos sometimes and they’re okay. There’s sully a wait because the food is made to order so I stay away from here on the weekends. I like that they bring your order to the table though

Carl’s Jr food is, well, Carl’s Jr. As far as fast food joints go, they’re better than several of the other big chain ones. This particular location has just undergone a major remodel. The dining area is about ½(or less) the size it used to be, which isn’t a bad thing since it seemed most of the area went unused. The décor is rather nice, with«old-time» photos of the founder, early shots of Carl’s Jr shops, &50’s era posters. The paint & lighting keeps with the theme of a older style burger joint, which is somewhat nice. The staff is about on par with most Carl’s Jr franchises, though when I went in the owner(or manager, maybe) was on site greeting people and taking a look around due to the grand re-opening.

Every time I am in California, this is a necessary stop for me and this trip was no exception. This time we went for lunch at the local mall. I decided to go for the Jalapeño burger. Of course, I was not disappointed. This is more than just your average fast food burger, this was YUMMY and spicy. It came loaded with jalapeños, I have to say, I enjoy Carl’s more than I enjoy In N’ Out and that’s a fact. I think their fries are 100 times better here than at any other fast food joint I’ve been to. If you are on the road and need a bite to eat for really cheap, chances are, you will see a Carl’s Jr. I’d say it’s the right choice to pull over and grab a burger here or try one of their tasty breakfast burritos!

Natasha explained to me that this popular fast food chain is reviewable due to their limited regional availability. Just as well, because I have only been to a Carl’s Jr or Hardees less than a handful of times in my life. But on the two occasions I went in the past month, thank you Natasha, I was impressed. I thought their breakfast burrito was good. It was unique for a fast food chain because I could make out the flavors of the constituent ingredients; the burritos at other places can at times just taste like melted cheese in a wrap with vague notes of mystery meat. I also was happy with their jalapeño burger and fries. The flame broiled burger had a lot of flavor, and I appreciated the spiciness of the abundant jalapenos. The fries were also remarkable for their nice texture and not being limp or oily. In the future if I need to stop during a road trip for fast food, I will give them serious consideration. 3.5 stars
