Not a hotel. Unilocal isn’t great with their categories. It’s bar. A cool little dive bar with hot bartenders, a mix of music, and better than average food.

This would not qualify as a dive bar in my vocabulary. I mean they have 20 microbrews on tap and the place is full of hipsters. Friendly bartender willing to do tastings and great music on a Monday night. Maybe it get sceevier on the weekends or I’m missing something here because this is a fun hip bar with awesome local beer selections.

first let’s say this is truly a dive bar above reproach. some years ago a bartender was robbed and killed in this place.
I dare say this is one of the sleazy or bars in town.
their beer selection is fair at best and that’s all they should have. I don’t get it I don’t even know why they serve food, that’s because the OLCC makes them do it. poison is waiting for you.
look I understand music and this is the worst that you can hear it’s not even performed well.
they should figure out a little better scale of food for sure and how this place is adressed as itself

You have to be of the right mind to enjoy this place, but if you like low tile ceilings painted flat black, ’60’s real wood wall paneling, friendly bartenders, drinks poured right, Traeger smoked pork by the owner, or otherwise great food that’s better than any other tavern in Salem… you’ll love this place.
You have to be brave to pass thru the single door into the concrete block bunker that’s painted a complimenting nondescript yet somehow discouraging green/​gray.
But once inside savor the music, food, and drinks.
No one leaves unchanged by the Triangle.

Scary. My group (in our 30’s) were the youngest in there by about 20 years. And when it finally got busy on St Patricks Day, there were 10 people in the whole bar. Drinks were poured correctly and service was good, but this place is dingy, low lighting, pretty sketch ball. The smoking area is dimly lit, and I wouldn’t have felt comfortable without my guy buddies there. This place needs a major revamp. We wandered over to Presleys (just down the street) and had a better time drinking and smoking hookah over there.

If you don’t like this place you are stuck up. The bartenders are nice, the music is rock, the drinks are poured properly and the people are friendly. The open mic’s are welcoming and the shows are fun and cheap!

This is a scary scary little bar which you should only go to if you’re totally smashed and can’t see straight because then you might not mind the non-​existant décor and the nearly suffocating amount of smoke that seems to permeate every nook and cranny of this place. It is also convieniently located in the middle of Nowhere Fun.
